In summary

Cypress Lakes Golf & Country Club is praised for its well-maintained, challenging course with fast greens and a strategic layout featuring significant water hazards. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, traditional country club amenities, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for both casual rounds and events. However, some guests have raised concerns about increased green fees, pace of play, and occasional issues with staff interactions, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

The course is in excellent shape. A tough layout with a lot of water. The greens are fast compared to other golf courses in the area which I like. I really enjoy playing here.

This layout is not for the faint of heart. Located in the heart of Muscle Shoals. I'm an 11 handicap, from Central Florida and this is one of the most difficult layouts that I've played. I'm also a lefty so they may have a little to do with that. Still an amazingly fun and challenging course to play. I played out of season so don't let the brown grass fool you. There was plenty of lie to hit off of and if you're off the fairway most of the second cuts were in really good shape. There is a lot of water and a lot of trees with very tight designs on the fairways. So if you're a straight hitter y…

Nice course. Good greens. Had a tee time for 0850. Pressured immediately on second hole approach shots for us to let three "regular" groups play through. We had a group in front of us, holding us up a bit. The marshal then comes up to talk to us and the group in front of us. This is on whole two, not even on the green yet. Weird experience. Won't be back.

Honestly the course is a good layout and greens are not bad but that’s about it. With that being said RTJ is the same price and a nicer course. Pace of play just isn’t that great here and there are a lot nicer ranges at any of the other courses around. Just go to RTJ

We had one of our family reunion gatherings here. Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! Staff was friendly, pool was sparkling along with some led lighting to accent the waterfall and other areas of the pool, changing areas & restrooms were very well maintained and stocked. Lots of lounge chairs and tables for your convenience!

Used to be a nice municipal course to play. Now they think they are a country club, prices have increased 30% in the last year and workers will use any excuse to close the course so they can go home early. Get a trail card and play at RTJ in the shoals it’s cheaper and a better experience.

Nice course. Play here pretty often but that will all change now that they are raising green fees to $60 without the amenities to justify it. RTJ of the shoals is cheaper to play at now. I don’t think they realize how much business they are going to lose with are rate increase of 33 percent.

We played today, 5/21/24. The course was in fantastic condition. The greens were perfectly kept. Everything was top notch. It was my first time playing the course but certainly won't be the last. The price is great for a quality course such as Cypress Lakes! Every single employee we came in contact with were absolutely great. Best round of the year for me! D.E.Sharp. Oneonta Alabama

There is not a BETTER country club in the nation. Some are probably as good but none better. The course is fabulous and greens PGA tour quality. The staff from top to bottom is more than just qualified. They are southern hospitality with great work ethic. If you have a chance to play here or join do not hesitate. I haven't been to the tennis or pool facilities but if it is like everything else it is top notch.
