In summary

Diamond Woods Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, scenic views of the Willamette Valley, and friendly staff. The course layout is considered fun and challenging, with notable elevation changes. However, some visitors have mentioned issues with the pace of play, older carts, and the condition of the bunkers.

The greens were smooth, firm-but receptive, and fast. The fairways bounced with roll out. I was told that there's been an extensive ongoing sanding project, and it shows. The course is the driest I've seen this year. I was greatly impressed. I mean, I know the Doyles reinvest, and there's obvious pride in ownership, but I was really glad we decided to come down. It was worth every penny, and every mile. Plus, the scenery on this course is unparalleled. The elevation changes open to some spectacular views of the Willamette Valley. This is truly a special place. Coming from a guy who has been…

Off the beaten path north of Eugene, Oregon, hides this little gem. After the recent flooding of Emerald Valley, which we have played, a friend from Eugene suggested we give Diamond Woods a try. We’re grateful for the recommendation. It was late in the date, I think we teed off at 6:30 pm. The clubhouse is small yet clean and simple, and the staff was very friendly. They pointed us off in the direction of the golf carts, and we headed out. The layout is fun. There are a couple of rather bland holes, but for the most part, we’d say 80% of the holes are entertaining, especially once you get to…

Course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly. Front 9 was an easy walk. Back 9 is definitely more challenging. Price was decent for winter rates. Will be back.

For what it is, it's a pretty nice course. The greens are fun and pretty well kept. The design is interesting. The fairways are mediocre but everything else kind of makes up for it. It was worth the drive for me to have a new experience.

Great, beautiful par 72 course. Well maintained and very challenging course. Back 9 has alot of up and downs. I would recommend a cart, its a very long course. Definitely fun and get your money's worth. But, then again I always say any bad day of golf is way better than any good day at work!

Fun course. Pretty open but still challenging. Great views of the valley as well. We walked 18 and it was very walkable, but a cart would be nice too if you don't like walking a lot. There are some hilly holes too. Good deal for the cost of 18 for sure. I'll come back and play again for sure.

Just played Diamond Woods this past Saturday (11/17/18.) Driving down from Beaverton, which was just 90 minutes with light traffic, I was hoping for good conditions. I was amazed as the greens, fairways, traps, tee boxes..everything was fantastic. We could have played the ball down, and at this time of year, that's unheard of. The greens were smooth, firm-but receptive, and fast. The fairways bounced with roll out. I was told that there's been an extensive ongoing sanding project, and it shows. The course is the driest I've seen this year. I was greatly impressed. I mean, I know the Doyles r…

Had a tee time for 6:30 a.m. this morning and just got done playing 9 holes. What a great golf course. They keep it very well maintained. Staff members are excellant. Not busy this early. It was very quiet and peaceful to play in the morning. Price was great also. We will be back to play here again.

Nice, tough course. Lots of trees, water, hills. Well maintained, free range balls! $36 for 18, but you'll want a cart - $16.

First time there, Will play here again just for the fun design and beauty. $20 twilight for 9 holes is a win! Greens are small and were quite bad . Putting over dirt patches occasionally. Not sure if these improve into the summer. Fairways were okay. The grass was a little shaggy, stringy, n loose feeling. No sand experiences but the bunkers are everywhere so beware. Carts are gas powered and kinda old but still get ya there. I had a little higher expectations when looking into their pricing but still Happy.

Course is in great shape, unlike my game which was hot garbage. They are putting A LOT of water on the course so you may need to take relief from standing water or a plugged ball from time to time.
