What People Say

In summary

RiveRidge Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained condition, appealing layout, and friendly staff. Visitors appreciate the driving range and the inclusion of a small bucket of range balls with the greens fee. However, some golfers express disappointment over the recent sale of portions of the course, leading to reduced availability and occasional bottlenecking on the remaining holes. There are also concerns about the course's upkeep and the need for facility improvements, such as upgrading to electric carts and extending driving range hours.

This is a fun little 9-hole golf course slightly challenging. Very well manicured

We love this course! It's beautiful and well maintained. It's not too difficult for a beginner but still challenging enough for an experienced golfer. My only complaint is about the gas powered carts...it would be great if they upgraded to electric at some point!

Recently played RiverRidge with my son. The course was in fantastic condition! The tee boxes, fairways and greens were perfect. The driving range was also in excellent condition. It was nice that a small bucket was included with the greens fees. All together a great time on at a nice course. Thanks RiverRidge

Nice, well maintained course - but only 9 holes. Nice driving range, and it's in town! Better take advantage of it - rumor is the remaining nine hole course has been sold for development.

I'm a caregiver and I bring my elderly clients whom suffer from memory loss to their driving range every week. The employees are great and have great attention to detail. They offer golf lessons; though, I haven't personally taken a class I've witnessed many of them and they sure look fun and easy to follow!

Really been disappointed by this place as of late. It use to be a great place to play for the price and availability when they had all 3 courses. Since then, it simply doesn’t feel like much effort is put into the place. The last few times I have gone, the course is bottlenecked by the 4th hole. I’ve even walked off mid round because it’s so backed up. I went to the driving the range today, assuming it would be open when I got off of work (because it is fully lit) only to discover that it closes at 5:30... It seems like they should have the range open later if lighting isn’t an issue.

I like the nature-friendly management of RiverRidge. I was sad when the two small 9-hole courses across the street were sold off. I'm older and one of them fit me and the other was a great place to teach beginners, which I did. Now we face the closure of the remaining 9-hole course. It's hard to praise the course management when the owner is selling out. Remember us and the natural setting your retirement fund is sacrificing.

It’s great to get outdoors and feel safe in any environment these days. RiverRidge GC is doing a great job of maintaining their course during Covid for a great golfer experience! Their staff members are friendly and they even provide a small basket of warm-up golf balls for the price of your greens fee. Classy! And even though it was the weekend, I played 18 holes in four hours, averaging two hours per nine holes. I always appreciate it when other golfers respect A reasonable “pace of play“.

I am a golf professional in the Lane County area and it had been awhile since I played at RiverRidge. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the golf course conditions were. The layout of the golf course was very fun and interesting, with many visually appealing golf holes. I especially enjoyed the 2nd shot on hole #8 and hole #4 and the tee shot on hole #3. I had an awesome experience and would recommend RiverRidge to anyone looking for a place to play golf in Lane County.

Can’t explain how unbelievably disappointed I am with this facility as a whole. DO NOT make this your home course if you actually want to progress as a player! They don’t have a single spot to chip or hit wedges, they nickle and dime their members when it comes to range balls, all staff, except for the pro shop, is the definition of unprofessional and the owner somehow believes he owns a grade A facility when they just sold 27 of their 36 golf holes last year due to the lack of business and need for liquidity. Not to mention the golf course is manicured very poorly (consistent bad lies in the…

This could be a really nice course, if they just took care of it. Lots of bare grass spots, Uncut fairways, concrete hard sand traps, and sprinklers running on a green at 10 a.m. sure doesn't help your game to much... just too expensive for what you your paying. Greens were in good shape though!

Nice course. Decent pricing. Was better when it was 18 holes. But the front 9 is still good. Green fee comes with a small bucket of range balls, which is nice!
