In summary

Laurelwood Golf Course is appreciated for its challenging and diverse 9-hole layout, with notable elevation changes and a scenic setting near the University of Oregon campus. The staff is frequently praised for their friendliness, and the course is considered a good value for the money, with well-maintained greens and fairways. However, some visitors mention issues with long grass in the rough, lack of clear signage and yardage markers, and occasional slow play, particularly due to its popularity with less experienced golfers. Additionally, the driving range and drainage could benefit from improvements.

Awesome local 9 hole muni course. Great layout with a lot of variation in difficulty based on tee boxes. Don't play here expecting unexciting straight away par 4s with no elevation! The greens usually run great when the weather allows the right upkeep. Staff is awesome, friendly and laid back. All around great track for the price. Just a quick heads up, this course is right by UO campus, so it can be quite busy with not-so-experienced golfers. As someone that plays as a single a lot, you are forewarned. This is really a nice public course that has a lot more terrain and diversity than you'd…

You can get kind service and valuable price. Course is not easy, and it feels a little bit challenging every holes, which makes me fun and dynamic. Elevated fairway and green was awesome.

Very friendly service and very beautiful. The only complaint I have is that the grass is pretty long in the rough and it’s hard to find your ball, otherwise absolutely awesome! Highly Recommend!!!

Absolutely love this course. Plenty of everything and a great workout if you walk. Tall Firs everywhere, just a beautiful setting.

Loved this little course. No snobby country clubbers. People came out with their dogs and they just ran along with them. Some locals walk the trails through. Well maintained and beautiful!

Great course, can’t play it. Nobody in the clubhouse or the website with QR code does not work.

I thought the green color was refreshing and definitely inviting . It was a beautiful day. The service was normal and nice. The driving range didn't have any yardage markers which kind of sucked so basically I hit 500 yard bombs every swing... No one can tell me different. The bar had great customer service and the Hefe I had was perfect to end the day. 4 stars for no yardage markers and some slow play up front. Otherwise 5 :)

This is really a nice public course that has a lot more terrain and diversity than you'd expect. It usually isn't too crowded and prices are fairly reasonable. The course would be even better with a couple low cost enhancements including ball washers and better yardage markers. It would also be great if you could book senior and youth rates right on the website rather than asking for money back at the course.

Having played primarily flat courses, this course was a nice challenge. A little confusing on navigation at the 2nd and 7th holes.
