Just want to say that this course is beautiful by all means and well worth the money! Staff are excellent and the layout of the club/course/parking is amazing. Always play this course when visiting OBX!

Golf Staff were very friendly and course has a beautiful design. The course was not in the best shape however and needs a new greenskeeper. The man who served us at the restaurant was not very friendly.

I have played tennis at Duck Woods the last several summers. This is one of the nicest facilities I’ve ever played at. The courts are in great shape and are really well maintained. Whitney, one of the pros, is both super nice and highly meticulous about upkeep and court quality. If you get a chance to play there, I highly recommend Duck Woods.

Just played yesterday 6/1/23 for the first time. Heard great things from friends past years. Golf course was a dog track and worst course in the area. Course condition was not great at all for being private. Lot of bare spots all over fairways and rough. Greens were ok but mostly hitting of dirt and grass patches everywhere else. Save your money and go ANYWHERE else.

Awesome pro-golf course! There are TONS, of water hazards. I’m a long ball hitter so it took that away from me, lol had to play smart golf.

A fun course to play with lots of challenging water hazards - couldn't ask for a better spot to go out and play a round. Beautiful course with lots of wildlife, filling your round with lovely bird sounds, but watch for stray turtles crossing the fairway! Friendly staff in the Pro Shop at check-in.

Today, we gather to remember and honor the incredible life of our dear friend, Captain Ken. The news of his sudden passing has left us in profound grief, and our hearts ache as we struggle to comprehend a world without his vibrant presence. Ken was a man who embodied the spirit of life, love, and friendship. Hailing from New York, Ken lived a life full of color and joy, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met. His infectious smile and warm demeanor made him a friend to all. Whether you knew him for a moment or a lifetime, you were instantly drawn to his friendly nature and generous heart…

I was already skeptical after reading recent reviews… Course was in great shape, but they only have a starter on the course so plan for an all day event. If you are on vacation and the wife lets you sneak away in the morning to play a round this is not the course you wanna play at. It will take 6 + hours and they do not care about your time, very selfish individuals here.

Check in was pretty easy. We played a late afternoon round for $75 bucks. You can’t find anything cheaper than that around OBX. Course conditions were better than I expected them to be. Definitely some dead spots out there that needed work but for the most part things were fine. Greens were a tad slow but were in pretty nice shape for it being the end of July. This will probably be my go to course in the future.
