Beautiful course. Prepaid through an app the day before. Get there and I was told the driving range was closed. The front 9 was closed. Had to play the back 9 twice. Ended up being a 5+ hour round due to the back ups from everyone being on the back 9. Could not get a refund. The course was beautiful. Challenging. Everything good except the pace of play. Had it been posted before I paid for it that it was only partially opened, I would have tried one of the other courses in the area. Yes, I would go back. Just not happy about the way the day was handled.

Little bit pricey and greens were not rolling true. Greens were a little bit bumpy. Fairways were perfect. Price was 159 to ride 18. Good challenging design, choose the club upon teeing off. You could pretty much leave the driver at home depending on how far u hit a 3 wood.

Wasn’t planning to play golf on my vacation but I’m glad I did! Booked a tee time for 3:32 August 6th and called the pro shop, Steve was very helpful! I was looking to share a rental set with my brother and Steve said it’d be no problem (he saved me 80 bucks). We ended up finishing all 18 right at sundown which was absolutely perfect! The course played pure, greens rolled true and the fairways were in excellent condition. I will definitely be playing here again the next time I’m in NC, worth every penny!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nags Head Golf Links is hands down one of the most scenic and enjoyable courses I’ve ever played! The views of the sound are absolutely breathtaking, especially on the back nine, and the layout offers the perfect blend of challenge and fun. The course was in excellent shape—fast greens, well-maintained fairways, and just enough wind to keep things interesting. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the pace of play was smooth the entire round. Whether you’re a serious golfer or just looking to enjoy a beautiful day on the course, this place is a must-play on the Outer Banks.…

Beautiful course! We played 18 and took our time enjoying each hole. Sun was out, no crowds or waiting, greens freshly cut, and a fun challenge. We were excited to golf along the ocean, which the pictures and timing of the sunset turned out amazing! The cost per person wasn't overpriced, and staff all friendly and helpful.

4 March 2026 - I've only golfed here in the winter. Not usually busy. Tough course for sure. I hover around an 18 handicap and this course always eats me up, ha. Very narrow fairways overall, and if you're a first-timer, or only play once a year like me, you're at a huge disadvantage with a few blind/semi-blind shots. Greens were the fastest I've ever seen today, anywhere. Shot a 102, LOL. I'm going to have to stick to irons-only next time I play. Anything slightly off target with your driver or fairway woods ends up running into the bushes or a hazard. Maybe in the summer with thicker rough y…

The course was not worth the money. Overall short target style course with a few water holes. The course sanded their greens and made it extremely difficult to putt and were slow. Not worth the money for the $145 price tag. Also charging $7 for range balls for those green fees is bad business

Course was in quite good condition and the views are pretty awesome. Prices for golf are pretty ridiculous wherever you go in OBX. Only downside is depending on where you are staying in OBX the drive length can take way too long

Quality golf course. Cool design, weaves around the Pamlico Sound and the Nags Head Village. Always in great shape maintenance wise. A bit pricey but to expected on an island. When playing this course, keep in mind that it is a position golf course. Play the angles, hit the greens, and stay out of trouble. The fairways are narrow and offer little forgiveness! Bombing and gouging will not work on this course unless you want to lose a dozen balls. Play smart golf, as the course is not overly long, and you will thoroughly enjoy the challenge.

Took two foursomes out to Nags Head links last week and had an amazing time with our group! Great service, GM was extremely nice, course was in immaculate condition. 10 out of 10 and would recommend anyone traveling to OBX to check this place out.

The course is absolutely beautiful. The views of the bay are to die for and the grounds are kept very well! The greens were a little bit rough and it was mainly from people don’t fixing there ball marks but still absolutely worth the money. When we scheduled a late tee time they ended up not having enough golf carts but they took care of us. Helped us get a refund and scheduled was a different day at a discounted price. Outstanding staff!!!
