In summary

Eagle Rock Golf Course is often praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, enjoyable atmosphere, and good amenities including a well-regarded restaurant. Many visitors appreciate the course layout and the peaceful setting. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about course maintenance, particularly the condition of the greens and fairways, as well as issues with course management such as overbooking and aggressive marshals, which can affect the pace of play and overall experience.

We decided to try Eagle Rock again after a 10 year hiatus. Wish it was 20 years. If your ball ends up in the bunker, pull it out, it's a mixture of 50/50 sand/rock. They obviously do not want to spend the $ on maintenance. Good luck taking a divot from the fairway, they are rock solid and baked out, the equivalent to hitting off of concrete. 91 dollars spent to basically golf at a place that could only be compared to an abandoned farmers field, honestly if it is a last resort, stay home as it is not worth it at all. 28 degrees on a Sunday and the cart girl was non-existent on the back 9. The p…

I went with a group of gals for my first ever golf game, and had a wonderful time! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and it was nice to feel not intimidated for a beginner. We even got to scoot around in a Super Mario themed cart. The area was so quiet and peaceful. Visited the restaurant after 9 holes, and had yummy food and excellent service. Will be back!

For me this is a great value track. It has great value for the price. When this course is dry you'll get a few favorable bounces along the round. If it's wet, it's not a pleasant because of the water pooling in locations your ball lands easily. They do have a grass range and a great chipping area. The putting green has no flat ground to get a true roll of the ball. The carts are average. The have above average food and drink. A great vibe in the bar area as well as the patio. The clubhouse has a decent supply of apparel choices. If buyy the Canada golf card pass you get super value on this cou…

The staff in the pro shop were very pleasant. We started on time and finished 18 in 4 1/4 hrs. The fairways and greens were in good shape. We went to the 19th hole for food and beverage, the food was good, the server was great. The one complaint stopping them from getting a 5 star rating, the course marshall was driving around and a foursome were playing music loudly and he did nothing. I like golf for it's tranquility, if I want to hear music, I will go to an appropriate place to listen to it.

The course was in pretty rough shape. The greens were very spotty. Rough was tall. Edmonton has had a lot of rain so there was a lot of ground under repair, wet areas. Staff was good.

Prices are a little high for the course you get, as well as the not included range cost. Ranch is definitely a tough competition.

Overall the course is OK, but for the cost you would think the greens would have been in much better condition, given how much rain the region has had lately. We were also pretty disappointed that the "Starter" is not educated on how to properly set the pace of play. Being demanded that we tee of 9 minutes before our assigned time while the group ahead is in the middle of the fairway is not appropriate. The entire round, we were either waiting for the people ahead of us, or dodging balls being hit from the group behind us. Also, their is only 1 bathroom in the front 9, and 1 bathroom in the…

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Eagle Rock. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive. The course itself is beautifully maintained and the restaurant was excellent. I highly recommend Eagle Rock to anyone looking for a memorable round of golf in a beautiful setting. I’ll definitely be back soon!

We just had our hockey teams’ golf tournament at Eagle Rock. Everything was amazing, food was delicious, and the staff – especially the kitchen staff were incredible. Great rates and a great course. Chad the pro kind and professional as always. See you next year!

Without the lesson with Cody we got to start the season, we would be way worse off. Woof! Great staff, cold brews, first time we played this year at a Goat Track Social Club Event. Nice layout. Can’t wait to head back! #fourjackpodcast

We played July 9th, 2025 @ the Eagle Rock GC. After all the rain & sun we had recently, I expected the course to be in mid-season form. The greens were in bad shape. They were very bumpy with a lot of patchyness. Several times we had to move our golfballs to find a smoother area to putt. They charged us full rate but thankfully we had a 2 for 1 coupon when you book the round with a powercart. The restaurant was a bright spot & I would definitely go back for the delicious food. Thank you Kate for a nice meal & your great service.
