Edinburgh is 1 of the best values in the metro area. You're not going to find a much better course under 100$. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because i reserve that rating for 5 star resort courses and top-tier private clubs only. The practice facilities are the best in the area, offering a great short game area and a nice driving range. The greens are pure and about as fast as any public course in the state. The front 9 is Links style and is the more "gettable" of the 2 but has quite a bit of water to contend with. The back is tight and wooded and can be a challenge for even the…

It's not a bad course but for how much I paid for 18 holes and a cart ($85) I honestly didn't expect the fairways to be so..patchy? No one replaces their divots in the fairway (nothing you can do about careless golfers, no doubt) but it doesn't seem like the club takes any action to fix the divots. The tee boxes are pretty nice. Greens run fast on some and slow on others which was a fun challenge. The four-some that we were, did find it a little rude when an older gentlemen employee drove up in a cart and told us we needed to play faster...? I would deem this acceptable if the people behind us…

Love everything this place has to offer, great track, quick large greens and challenging rolling fairways. Plenty of water and well placed sand traps as well. Staff is always on point, and the Brooklyn restaurant has great burgers.

Probably one of the best public tracks in Minneapolis. From tee box to green the entire course is in phenomenal shape. Design is unique and clearly a Robert Trent Jones course. The double green that is 9 & 18 is truly amazing. Then the island fairway on 17 makes for a very unique and challenging hole. Practice range was in great shape, pro shop was nice, food very good, drink and food carts driving around the course. Pace of play is good. Could imagine it getting a little more back up on the weekends but had no problems when I played today

Played here for the first time last Friday. I had heard that the course is always in great condition, but usually play is a little slower than usual. The greens were fast and the course pace was great. We tee’d off at 5pm and didn’t see anyone in front of us until hole 14-15. Would recommend anyone new to the area on the west side to play here and the back 9 views are awesome! Included a few pictures from the round.

Was a walk on Sunday morning and I was the only female. Was paired with 3 of the nicest men who made me welcome. Very challenging golf course. Ate at the on course restaurant and it was fabulous. Had the Cobb salad with steak. Yummy!

Beautiful course. Greens were firm. Pins were carefully selected. Clubhouse is beautifully made, looks like a Scottish castle. Clubhouse is full of merchandise to purchase. Carts are great. Have GPS and locks you out if you get too close to OB or greens.

We attended a Celebration of life there and it was lovely! We heard the experience with everyone was positive and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend.

Served at a wedding in the banquet hall. It was so beautiful and glassy! I don't golf enough to rate the course, but Edinburgh is a beautiful place I'm glad to have been apart of!

Edinburgh is a challenging and fairly scenic course! The clubhouse is one of a kind and service is above par. I will play here again!

Great golf course. Ridiculously challenging if you can’t hit it straight-ish. Every hole is bunker left/water right, or bunker right/water left. There aren’t any bail-outs. Fairways are mown tight and immaculate. Greens are fast and firm. The 17th hole isn’t any fun, but it is extremely demanding and very unique. Nobody plays 17 and says, “You know, this hole reminds me of…”. Nobody says that because it’s one of a kind. Great food in the clubhouse. Wonderful chipping/pitching facility. No long walks. It’s a pretty easy walk, actually. Enjoy the challenge.
