In summary

Enger Park Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic views, challenging layout, and friendly staff, offering a welcoming atmosphere for both golf and disc golf enthusiasts. Recent improvements, including a new irrigation system, have positively impacted course conditions, though some areas still require maintenance, particularly the fairways and cart paths. Pricing and organization around amenities have received mixed feedback, with some visitors finding the costs high for the condition of the course.

The course was fun to play. I liked the character and enjoyment of the course being hilly. That being said...the greens were in really rough shape with sparse if any grass and discolored. Speed of the greens was good. Also the poor fairways were pretty beat up and brown as well as the ground being extremely hard in places. Needless to say the place needs some rain badly!

I drove up from the Twin Cities this past weekend to play Enger Park Golf Course and was pleasantly surprised by the shape it was in. From what I understand, they recently installed a new irrigation system, so the course is still recovering a bit, but overall it was in great condition. The greens rolled true and were fantastic. When I first arrived at the range, I met Sam, who was working on the ball machine. He was extremely friendly, and we had a great conversation. I later learned he’s the Assistant Manager, and he even came out during my round to check in and see how things were going. Th…

Under new management. Healthy grass, well maintained carts, fair prices. Overall, it's a great day of golfing any time of the season. Could use a little more organization around clubhouse amenities. The website for scheduling Tee times is easy to navigate. Not sure if walk ons are available, but im sure if you walk up to the Pro, they will let you know. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices seem the same as Nemadji.

It’s a municipal course, so you know what to expect. I called to book a twilight tee time. They don’t offer twilight. No big deal. It had rained a ton the days leading up to the tee time so I called day of and asked if it was wet/check on conditions. The person told me the front was dry but the back was wet. When I arrived I said I wanted to do 9 and confirmed that I was starting on hole 1. The younger person ringing me in said yes that’s fine. I proceed to hole 1 and was quickly told that they were starting on 10th whole. I explained I wanted to stay dry, but was told to go to 10. The “ranger…

We were apprehensive about golfing Enger course. The course was in desperate need of TLC the last couple years, so we were mostly playing Nemadji. We were glad we gave Enger another try! The conditions were excellent! We had a great 9 hole game. The course still needs work on the cart paths ( in the works I was told) and the clubhouse is in need of updating. Otherwise a 10/10.

Needs some maintenance - very rough terrain that needs to taken care of. Better to walk it. The course and layout are beautiful, great staff and fun to play.

Wonderful course on the bluff above Duluth. It’s a municipal that gets a lot of love and has plenty of challenge. Mostly, it is uncomplicated, so many of your off target shots will just give you a more “interesting” next shot. Greens has been aerated a few weeks before but were healing well and I had to adjust to the speed (faster than they looked). Check the scorecard for length, you might want to play the back tees (or at least start there if you are a long driver.) Par threes are mostly around 180 from the whites, and the par 5s are in the 500’s. Being a municipal, a single like me got pa…

It was clean and well kept, staff was friendly, overall good time. Green fees were relatively cheap, around $10 each (walking), and played a round of disc golf.

$50 for nine holes on a Sunday night is a little ridiculous Especially when the driving range is closed early on Sundays, so can’t even warm up. Otherwise, the course is pretty good I would rate higher if it had better prices

Signed my son up for classes this year. He's loving it and his skills are progressing nicely! I've already encountered a few others to join for the next session.

Charging $26 to walk 9 holes at this course is borderline criminal. Half the fairways are destroyed due to construction or carts driving all over the wet fairways. This is by far the worst condition I've ever seen the course in. I would recommend the drive over to play Nemadji 10 times out of 10 rather than playing this course.
