In summary

Lester Park Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic views of Lake Superior, diverse 27-hole layout, and friendly staff, offering a range of challenges suitable for various skill levels. Many golfers enjoy the course's affordability and the quality of the greens, though some express concerns about the condition of the fairways and cart paths, as well as occasional slow pace of play. While the course's natural beauty and unique features are often highlighted, maintenance issues and inconsistent course conditions have been noted by several visitors.

Overall a very fun course, we had a very slow front 9 and the Lakes 9 was a better time. The course needs some maintenance. I haven't been on a more bumpy cart path or fairway ever. Greens were good and staff was great, but reinvest - charge $5 per golfer if you need to. It's only going to get worse with the number of people playing.

One of two great public courses Duluth has to offer. We played all 27 holes this course has to offer and had a blast doing so. The Lake 9 is a bit more challenging but way less crowded for that reason. Would recommend this course to anyone looking for a day on the links.

27 Superior Holes still open to tempt and test golfers of all ability levels. Probably the best golf value in Duluth. Play it while you can. Enjoy the Birds and the Views.

It's a favorite. Beautiful 18 hole golf course with views of Lake Superior. Fairways are not in fantastic shape but very playable. Greens all break to the lake. It's views will make your golf game!

What a great golf course! My first time there was a blast and will not be my last. Such a nice employee base. They helped me out with all my questions greatly. Beautiful view of the lake to top it off.

This is a great course, we'll maintained, and some of the best views in the city. Do yourself a favor and take on the challenge of the lake 9. The green fees leave a little bit to he desired (they got rid of some great specials from last season) but overall it is a great course to spend an afternoon.

This is a very scenic public golf course, and very reasonably priced. What a beautiful way to spend an hour or two. I hope it's never sold or changed. Beautiful views! I'll tell all my friends. I understand that it's been a public Park golf course for close to 100 yrs?!

This is a great golf course! With a front 9, middle 9 and back 9 there is a lot of golf to be played. Lots of variety of shots, elevation changes, rolling hills, and water features. Plenty of wide open spaces for the big arms and plenty of technical shots for a challenging short game. Love the views too!

Golfed the Lake Course yesterday 9 holes with a cart for two people which was about $55 or so. This was our first time golfing here. There were a few holes with awesome views but the course itself was incredible burnt up which was possible due to the late start in the season so I'm sure this was very uncommon. Most of the fairways if not all of the fairways and rough were bone dry so there wasn't a whole lot of green spots. Kind've looked like carnoustie from a few weeks ago on tv. The greens however were in awesome shape and very fast. Food and beverage were very reasonable but I was just ve…

I had a very bad experience with Lester park golf course today. With Father's day coming up, my family and I decided that we would suprise him and play 9 holes at Lester Park. My dad has been dealing with some pretty serious health issues, and thought it would be nice to get all the siblings together to spend a nice day with him. I booked a tee time for 6 people the day before. We get to Lester Park and check in with the clubhouse and they said that it was slow so we can just tee off on the first tee box. Because there were 6 of us playing, we let people who were playing faster go in front of…
