Course is fairly challenging, especially for those of us who are not long hitters. It's in good shape, nice greens, surprisingly nice fairways. Overall, was a fun golfing experience. I tossed the score card so my rounds total should improve as I tell people about our day.

August 24th. Greens looking good. Tee boxes were in great shape. I enjoyed the course and the wind in my face! Beautiful course thanks Lakeview!!

Played here for the first this fall. The course layout was perfect with a few nice views of superior. I enjoyed the challenging set up however, the course itself is in bad shape. Hard as a rock fairways with lots of holes & dry areas. You can hurt yourself playing from the fairways. I’d rather be in the rough. Range was free but you had to go pick your own balls out of the range area. Maybe they were under staff some when we (group of 12) were there at 11:00 am. Deserves more of a 3 1/2 stars. Course has a lot of potential!

Course is just beat to shit shape and they’re charging full price. Slowest round of your life and putting on actual sand. Course owner should be embarrassed but it’s in the middle of nowhere so they get away with it

Loved it both times we went. Design & Layout is fun + challenging and that philly cheese steak & BLT - simply amazing.

Lakeview National in Two Harbors is a great golf course. Lots of fun. Different holes, different challenges. Most of the holes are cut right out of the woods. Very secluded and quiet on most holes. Every time I’ve played there in the past, at least, five years, the greens have been excellent. When they host their “open” tourney the first weekend in August, they always have the greens fast and firm. The course is a bit hilly. Not a hard walk. Certainly not Enger or Wirth, but it’s not flat. A good mix of holes, and wildlife. Also, the clubhouse makes a great clubhouse sandwich. Clubhouse and…

Due to my dear Lester Park Golf Course being closed, Lakeview National became my new home golf course. With Ian leading an excellent staff and the course being in amazing shape, it made losing my home course a little easier. Greens were incredible and the food is also really good. Thanks for taking me in and treating me like one of your own!!

One of the best values for your money. Good layout and great course conditions. After having played here only once a few years ago we played three times this summer. It will be a regular stop next summer, even though it’s over an hour drive from our house. Word of warning though, the greens will test you!

Lakeview National is in great shape and well worth a visit. Excellent Greens for a Northern Minnesota Muni. Enjoy the wildlife and the views.

Bring your driver. You'll need it. Course was in really good shape. Was wishing for some seed mix for my post tee shot game though.

The course is well maintained. The greens are huge and like putting on a carpet. The only view of the Lake was on the eighth hole and they don’t have CIGARS! Otherwise it is a great course; you will enjoy playing it.

This course is always fun to play, and the condition has improved tremendously in recent years. Beautiful views of Lake Superior on several holes.
