In summary

Firefly Golf Links is appreciated for its well-maintained course, scenic setting, and friendly staff, making it a pleasant experience for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course layout is noted for its challenging small greens and varied front and back nines. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play, particularly on weekends, and have mentioned that certain amenities, like cart cleanliness and course management, could be improved.

Course was lovely. Need some range markers from the pin, rakes in the bunkers, much better play than the last time we played (8 years ago). Step up for sure. Had a great time!

Very nice course with great scenery and wildlife. Very small greens so you're approach better be on but if you can hit the longball you will have a shot at birdie virtually every hole

Played Firefly two times now. Once as a single and just this past Sunday with my son from Arizona. The first round was played during the week and went smoothly and fast. Although, the course should mark the 9th tee better as the trail/path from 8 leads you to a utility building. The second time I played was on a Sunday with a 10:36 tee time. Paid $110 for my son and I to play and it was SLOW. I mean painfully slow and it was 92° with 80+% humidity and being an older course shade is at a premium. We played behind a foursome (two men and two women). We caught them at the 3rd hole and weren't off…

It is a nice course and well kept. The back is very tight and challenging while the front is wide open. Over all nice course.

This is a well-maintained course that's also a great place to take the kids that are developing an interest in the sport. The staff is very accommodating & pleasant if you aren't a "regular".

My first time there and it's a beautiful course. My Brothers and I had a great time. We played 36 holes. I can't wait until fall the colors will be beautiful. The layout and the greens are great also. Can't wait to get back there again.

Very friendly staff, not the most difficult course but well groomed. Greens were small but manageable. Finished in a little over 4 hours despite following a group of 8 younger gentleman. Would gladly come back again!

We stopped to play this course on the way home from a camping trip and I am glad that we did! We only played the front 9 which was very fun and challenging. The greens are unique, the tee boxes were all flat and in good shape, and the scenery was very nice! Good place to play and will play again the next time we are in the Clare area!

Started out slow because it had rained and it was backed up but we were a twosome so players let us go thru. The course was a little wet but played very well. Greens were great! It turned out to be a beautiful and on a fun course. Oh, greens were tricky to. Will go back definitely.

A nice golf course for beginners and intermediates. Fairways and greens are well cared for. Service needs some work (no cart service, ball washers always empty, etc...). New owners are probably still getting the hang of hospitality industry. Just glad they are keeping the course in playable condition. All in all it is my 3rd favorite in the area ( Snowsnake #1, Eagle Glenn #2).

Good course. They have nice greens and fairway. The staff is always friendly. The carts were dirty cigarette butts and crushed granola in the cup holders and storage compartments. All of the carts that were out on this past Saturday had ripped seats and it had rained the night before so you got wet britches. When we mentioned the condition of the carts we were told the cart kids had left last week so apparently that's the condition the carts will be in until school let's out again next summer🤷‍♀️
