I don't always hit the links, but when I do, I prefer a place that delivers more value than a garage sale find! Holy Moley, Fort Jaxon is not just a golf course; it’s a family-friendly putting paradise that practically prints memories! I brought the whole crew—the Mrs., Jaxon, Lukas, and Kinsley—and we had an absolute ball. This place is a hole-in-one in my book, a real driver of joy for everyone. The courses here are as crisp as my freshest pair of New Balances, and the greens? Forget about it! You could practically see your reflection in them, which is perfect because a good photo op is alwa…

Played this course on September 2nd 2023. Overall this is an outstanding course, especially for a military base. From my understanding they have two 18 hole courses. From the beginning the staff was very friendly and attentive. They even had a shuttle to take you and your bag to the driving range. The range and practice facilities were great and had complimentary golf balls on the range. As for the course itself the tee boxes could use some work. A few of them had barely any grass, just a lot of sand. The fairways were in great condition as well was the bunkers. The greens are extremely fast a…

This was my second time playing the courses at Fort Jackson. This time we played the wildcat course which was very challenging. It was a great layout. It had a lot of bunkers but no water on that particular course. It was still an extremely challenging layout and we had a lot of fun even though it was pouring down rain the whole time. Tee times are available on Golf Now.

Our company recently hosted a golf tournament here. Nothing but good things to say about the course, staff & food/drinks. Getting on the base was easy, all things considered & there was plenty of parking.

3 April 2025, played 18 holes on Old Hickory. Course is in great shape. Greens are a tad slow for 2:30pm. Staff is super friendly and course is challenging. Bring plenty of fluids, its crazy hot in the summer

Two courses that are in good shape. Great practice facilities. Allow time at the gate to have a security check.

Decent course, challenging layout just wish it was in better shape. Greens are great! Fast and true. Don’t expect food here which is a shame. Could be a great grill room but looks like it never gets used. Practice facility is good. Large range with separate area for chipping and bunker practice. No gps on carts and course isn’t marked well with yardage, bring your range finder.

Played wildcat course. Twilight rate $35. Worth every penny. Lived the layout. Gotta know your distances. Conditions weren't great but I'm sure they're winding down for the season. Going to play other course next time I'm in town.

I don’t care about golfing, but I like to fish in the ponds. I’ve caught a couple of decent sized bass there.

An awesome facility on a military base with two 18 hole tracks, a full driving range, two putting greens and a friendly, accomodating staff. I'm a 20 year member and assure you there is not a facility in the Columbia Area that offers the same. In addition, it is now open to the public. Simply enter the main gate at Forest Drive, visit the guard station, present your drivers license for a quick background check and you're good to go for the next six months. Come see us! The stories are endless.

One of the better courses I’ve played on. Very well kept. Nice tee boxes. Nice fairways. Nice putting greens. Get a pass at the gate if you’re not military.
