Forest Lake Club

A star for the nice facility. We have swam here before with no issues, but today this was the worst sportsmanship we have ever experienced in years of summer swim team! The FLC swimmers actively mocked and booed at our swimmers during warmups, lots of loud “boos” with thumbs down. These actions were mostly coming from little girls age 5-8! We were appalled. A couple of the little girls were nasty directly to my son several times when he was getting ready to be on the block, jeering in his face, and actually said, “We aren’t cheering for you, you little brat,” when he had told them what stroke…

Such a lovely space and place. It's always a pleasure being at Forest Lake. We love the scenery and the entry and ballroom are divine for weddings. It's truly one of our favorite venues in Columbia!

The service here is incredible! We were planning to have our wedding reception here, but hurricane Helene had other plans. Anita and her team seamlessly pivoted and made it happen at the Palmetto Club. The food, drinks, and service was top notch!! I've been to a few other wedding receptions at FLC and they are always a blast!

Negative experience with golf pro shop staff demanding juniors pay the full price guest rate ($80). Clearly, this is not a club that encourages or accommodates junior golfers.

I have only ever been here for events, so that is what this review will pertain to. The venue is beautiful and is located in a very pretty area. The main building is gorgeous with it's incredibly tall ceilings and beautiful floors. The staff were very nice and the food was wonderful.

Wow. A very pleasant experience and the ambiance is so nice and relaxing. The Staff from the Greeter to the management are all professionals and polite. The facility is clean and well ran , organized well for friendly ,easy visits .

Great golf course and service even though the lake was drained for the winter.

Played the front nine and was great! However, it would be good to know beforehand that you need to wear a collared shirt for entry.

It's a private club, who cares who they allow in. Start you own black only club if this upsets you so much. Great course, great amenities. Let privacy remain just that, private.
