In summary

Sedgewood Country Club is appreciated for its affordability, offering a budget-friendly option for golfers in the Columbia area, with some noting the greens as a highlight. However, the course receives mixed feedback on its overall condition, particularly the fairways and greens, which some describe as needing significant improvement. Additionally, there are occasional concerns about inconsistent pricing and maintenance issues with golf carts.

Perfect course to play if you are looking for a low rate. On weekdays you can play all you want for only $15 after 2pm which makes Sedgewood great for an after work round with friends. The fairways may not be the best but the greens are great for the price and the course has a fun layout. 100% recommend Sedgewood for anyone in the Columbia area looking for economy golf!

Literally the worst golf course I've ever played at. They must not believe in greens because they're nothing but sand. The fairways are like a cow pasture. We even had a cart die on us and there were a few dead carts littering the fairways. We thought it would be worth a saturday afternoon for only 20 bucks but definitely not. Spend your money elsewhere unless you like sand and the smell of a swamp around the greens

The fairways are hard and the grass is few and far between. It's hard to find your ball on the fairway. The greens are in the process of being worked on which made for difficult putting. The game who seemed to own the place was very nice and seemed to want to put much time into it. For fifteen dollars, you get what you pay for

I just played 18 holes today (5-9-14) and the course played the same as last time I played out there about 10 years ago. The greens are smaller than normal courses and it didn't matter if you were in the middle of the fairway, the ground was as if it were concrete. For the price they charge it wasn't bad. However, I was informed it would be $20.00 to play eighteen with a cart and I found out shortly thereafter from other players out on the course they paid $15.00 for the same. I asked why I was charged $5.00 more and the other players said I got ripped off. Even when you call in to the pro sho…

Sedge wood is nestled in the heart of the midlands and boasts a well kept course with pristine greens. This course has come a long way over the years and the fairways will keep you on your toes with every dogleg. Secret gem for 15 bucks.

If you like playing on fairways like cow pastures and greens like cement, this is the place for you. Youll be better off in the rough where there may be a tuft of grass to play off of. Making improvements is one thing, but seriously, Spend the extra ten dollars and play somewhere else.

You can play 18 holes for $15. The greens are a lot better than a year ago. Still needs some TLC.
