In summary

Fox Creek Golf Course in Livonia, Michigan, is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff. The course offers modern amenities such as GPS-equipped carts and a popular on-site restaurant, Coach's Corner, which enhances the overall experience. However, some visitors note issues with uneven tee boxes, slow pace of play, and occasional maintenance concerns, such as bare spots and cart path conditions.

Fox Creek offers an undeniable value: $24 to walk 18 holes on a weekday afternoon is a flat-out steal. But you get what you pay for in terms of difficulty. The 14 mph wind was brutal, turning a routine round into a genuine struggle for survival. The greens were running fast, making the course a legitimate test, not a casual stroll. Staff interaction was pleasant and efficient—friendly enough, which is all you really need. I got beaten up by the wind and those fast greens. I'm going back, not because I loved the round, but because I owe this course revenge. See you soon, Fox Creek.

Today was my first time at Coaches Bar and Grill in Livonia, and I’ve got to say — what a great spot! My buddy’s daughter was in town from Florida, and after they finished golfing, he suggested we all meet up here. Sounded good to me, so he sent me the Google Maps link… but somehow Maps decided to take me on the most random detour possible (no fault of Coaches, of course 😅). Once I finally made it, though, it was absolutely worth it. The place has a cool, relaxed vibe — exactly what you want from a neighborhood bar and grill. I ordered a burger, and it was delicious — juicy, cooked perfectly,…

A good public golf course in Livonia, Michigan to play golf. Good conditioning and good, medium-fast greens give a decent challenge for any level golfer. Prices are reasonable. Course has very nice restaurant attached (Coache's Corner) that has great menu for food and drinks. Of the three Livonia courses, this has the best restaurant.

So ill start with the good/not bad Course was in okay shape, prices are reasonable and I was able to get in without a tee time today which is nice. however, they do have the worst qualities I like in a golf course, the carts are the ones that babysit you and limit your speed over EVERY bridge, hole 11 was cart path only and since I'm a trash golfer, I had to walk all the way across the water hazard in the left to where my ball landed. Brought the wrong club. Had to make the walk again. Also carts are not allowed on the parking lot making loading and unloading annoying... it seems like you pa…

Paid $50 11/1/25 when every other course has a fall rate. A single player caught us and he paid $23 on golf now?? We could have shopped for a better course for that rate. Course has A LOT of bare spots and the cart paths are in desperate need of some attention. Greens were rough as thy have not recovered from aeration. Best layout of the 3 Livoniw courses. The Net is it was overpriced for a late season round for a course in moderately poor condition.

Course was in pretty good shape for end of November golf. Newer carts w/ GPS were nice. Would come back and play again.

A wonderful golf course that has some up to date amenities and carts with a nice layout (slightly narrow and long) that plays well to my shots. The holes have variety and the course is very well maintained.

Play this weekly in my league. One of the three Livonia courses. This is probably the most challenging of the three courses. Tee boxes can make some holes pretty long. Some sections you need to be accurate off the tee. Reading greens can be tricky. Greens are rolling good and course is super plush with all the rain this year. 6-9 are a nice group of holes with the big hill on #7 and the opportunity to cut the corner. Usually have music playing here at the clubhouse. Has a nice vibe. No complaints. Not a super fancy course but a quality city course.

League on any day that ends in y? I’m just trying to play after work but can’t because there’s leagues everyday of the week.

Course was running on time. Carts were in great shape and yardages aligned with my range finder. A little uneven in some tee boxes, but not too bad. We had a nice round and would definitely play it again.

First time playing this course. Was a little slow but that wasn't the course's fault more the players in front of us. It was a little wet due to all the rain that week but is that weak but I definitely will play this course again

Rain delay so we waited in the restaurant and had a few drinks. The manager helped me grab our clubs (all 3 bags) off the carts and allowed up to keep them inside out of the rain. After it passed he took our bags out to the cart and got us set up. Super nice, super helpful! Customer Service was best I'd experienced this year at a golf course! We'll be back soon!
