In summary

Freedom Oaks Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, excellent value, and friendly, attentive staff, creating a welcoming community atmosphere. The course offers a variety of challenging holes, including a notable island green, and is set in a picturesque location near Lake Erie, though it lacks direct lake views. While the course is generally appreciated for its layout and condition, some mention minor issues such as the availability of carts and the presence of poison ivy in certain areas.

It’s amazing how wonderful Peter and Melanie are upgrading and keeping up the course! We enjoy playing here and Elliot does a great job with the gardens

First time here as I visited here for a friends work tournament, had some really windy and rainy weather but the staff were on point with the doppler radar as we only had to delay for about min. Course conditions were great considering all the rain, fun times and I'm now going to put this course on my rotation list! Cheers for a fun morning! 😁

Charming Dunnville hospitality in a beautiful setting. A hidden gem along the shore of Lake Erie. Great staff especially the exceptional polite young people.

The course is decent, couple dog leg holes, very open, has some trees, course located right near the lake and off the beaten path, food available at hole #8, prices are fair, staff is good, stay out of the bushes due to Posion Ivy, gas and electric carts leased from Skyway Equipment in Hamilton, worth playing a round.

Great course to play and well taken care of. Monday's and Thursday's they have a special deal of around $35 cart included. The only downfall is the cart lady isn't always available but all in all its a great golfing time.

Came to the area for vacation. Planned on playing SanDusk but the reviews/price scared me off. Ended up playing 18 here instead and I'm greatful based off course maintenance alone. Friendly staff, layout was a bit confusing but we managed following the group ahead. Greens and fairway were in great condition especially for the price.

The marshals rip around on their fancy golf carts giving you a hard time if you try to have a couple dozen beers. Now, why would they do that?

Great golf course. Staff are wonderful and friendly. It’s not Glen Abbey but a lovely layout with some tough holes. The golf pro there is fantastic. Very easy to talk to and very understanding of trying to hit the ball perfect. Awesome in my world. ☘️

Amazing value. Great place to bomb long drives. The course is in pretty solid shape. The roughs are well managed so you're not too badly punished for an errant shot. The island green par 3 is a fun challenge and the 18th hole dares you to go for it. I'll play here every summer.

Best deal around. Tees are soft, some have crab grass. Fairways can be hard if little rain. Greens are well watered. Little slower than average Some green are wavy. No bunkers on course and very little water. Very open course if you spray it. By far best course in the area. Course is by Lake Erie, but a road separate the course and Lake. No view of lake or holes along lake. The other 2 courses have 9 holes and 18 tees. I cancelled other courses for the week to play Freedom. Overall easier than average. Fun course. 3-3.25 hrs to play for the 2 times I've played. Highly recommended. Monday and T…
