Played yesterday for the first time and my expectations were blown away. Sure it’s a muni and it is what it is, but the course was in fantastic shape from tee to green, pace was good, people were super nice and the course is pretty fun and wide open. I’ll definitely play again soon

Honestly, really didn't enjoy playing golf here too much. The condition of the course is not ideal, especially the greens, several greens have "bunkers" on it, if you know what I mean. Hardly can name one of the 18 holes that the design is good, pretty much all the holes are straight, not even dog leg left or right.

Silverbell Golf Course has never let me down in all the times I have been there. Now, let me first start off by saying that I am an amateur golfer for what it's worth. I don't ever talk like I'm a PGA Card carrying member, and I might lose a ball here and there when there is water, or if I'm playing at Star Pass. Out there for fun and relaxation. Silverbell provides the wide open spaces I need if I vear a little right or left. It's a city maintained course and they do an exceptional job keeping the greens nice. There is some yellow winter grass on the fairways, but you can't water in the winte…

I’ve came here multiple times and played some good golf I think it’s an okay price for what you get. This course just needs some love, it has potential. It’s also frustrating that their hours are incorrect I have shown up to the range only for the gate to be closed.

About what you would expect from a municipal course. Fair price for the course. Pace of play was good. The tee boxes and fairways and greens were in excellent shape, but the rest of the course was a mess. Just bare dirt and unmanucured 10 feet off the fairway. Actually several interesting holes.

Very serviceable public course. Nothing fancy, but solid golf holes with only 2 gimmicky ones. Conditions on the grass playing surfaces are better than one might expect.

My wife and I visited Silverbell Golf Course hoping to enjoy a positive day together and introduce her to golf for the first time. Instead, we experienced some of the most unprofessional and discouraging treatment we’ve ever encountered at a golf course. When we arrived at the first tee, a staff member immediately told my wife she couldn’t play because she didn’t have her own bag or clubs. I asked to see this rule in writing, and he couldn’t provide it. After checking both the Silverbell and Tucson City Golf websites myself, there is no policy stating that every golfer must have their own clu…

Nicer city course, we'll maintained bartenders know how to pour the drinks and the food is pretty good.

Fun course, but the experience was disappointing. Our group felt singled out by staff throughout the round, apparently just because we were playing with new players. We were repeatedly approached and told that “people were complaining,” even though we were keeping pace and following etiquette. It killed the vibe and made the round uncomfortable. Golf should be welcoming for everyone, and this really missed the mark.

It was a great day. We bumped into this guy on the 2nd hole. Play with caution.

Silverbell Golf Course has potential, but there’s definitely room for improvement. The layout could be better organized, and for this early in the season, the course is surprisingly dry. A bit more attention to turf management would make a big difference. The staff could also be more welcoming—friendlier service goes a long way in creating a better experience. Amenities are fairly limited; even small additions like ball washers at a few key spots and more consistent upkeep would enhance the round. With some updates and attention to detail, this course could be a much more enjoyable place to pl…

Really fun city course. Greens were firm and true. Long test from the tips
