In summary

Golf Center Des Plaines is appreciated for its well-maintained facilities, including a driving range with automated tees and a par 3 nine-hole course, both offering year-round play with heated stations in winter. Visitors enjoy the friendly staff, convenient amenities like a restaurant and bar, and the affordability of the experience. However, some guests have experienced issues with equipment malfunctions and slow maintenance response times, and there are occasional complaints about the pro shop's service and organization.

I love this place. Great prices and love the automated tees. Each station is a comfortable size and easy to use. Restrooms are always clean. Attendants are quick to respond to fix any issues. Heaters are always operational and work well. Drinks and food are available as well. Nice to be able to have a couple of beers at the drive by range. Ample parking and easy to get to. I would recommend maybe adding some more outdoor chairs behind each station for spectators and other golfers to sit while they wait.

What a fun course. Where can you play a par 3 golf, 9 hole course late in the evening, as well as enjoy a driving range. I went the other night with a group of buddies and it was just a blast. Not to mention they've got a restaurant there which is phenomenal. Great burgers and good drinks.

Got out on the course this morning (4/29) and was surprised to see how good of shape the course was in after being underwater for the better part of April. Shout out to Joe and his team for the quick work in getting the course into form! Truly couldn't tell that it was underwater just a week ago.

Nice place to practice golf skill. The short game area is well design with nice tools. The golf driving range are great and automatic ball supply with tee height adjustment. You can easily to find the available location by the lookup display.

It was me and my friends first time playing here. It’s now our favorite place to hit some range balls. It’s just like playing at TopGolf but without the tvs. $20 gets you 120 balls and $15 gets you 100 balls. I highly recommend coming out. We came out during a 50° February day so it was busy but not too busy. Also I noticed they also have a course to play on and a bar.

It's a great place to do long ranges with your golf clubs but the machines get stuck a lot. We tried getting assistance but it took a while. I waited about 10 minutes because the person who fixes the machines was talking about his personal life with the golfers. Then at another time, we couldn't find anyone to fix the machine.

TERRIBLE MAINTENANCE!!! Heaters broken on many bays, bays closed for repairs, balls get stuck constantly and you wait 10 min for staff, machines frequently don’t work to raise tee height. Maintenance guy says, “I get off in 20 minutes, can’t help.” Friday and Sat nights avoid if you are a serious golfer, it’s just a drunk party time for non-golfers.

This Golf Center in Des Plaines, IL on River Road is open all year long. Here, you can practice your driving and "short game" during the day and at night. It has 80 driving stations (heated in the winter) on three levels, a golf shop, pro (high tech) golf lessons, and a restaurant. If golf is your obsession, go to the Golf Center to fine tune you game year round.

I like this facility. I use the range the most, but have played the 9hole a dozen or so times. Usually kept in decent condition. I like the free use of the putting green, so whenever I'm done hitting balls I'll head over and putt for a bit...if it's not crowded of course. I usually go right when they open, so it's not so crowded.

Love it here, no nonsense range, all year round

Zero stars if possible. This review is for the pro shop, not the range of course which I love. Pro shop attendant never greeted me, was arrogant, smug and gave one word answers to my questions. Place is unorganized, cluttered and frankly merchandised like a garage sale. Won’t come back.

First time here, and the facility is good. I like the fact that I don’t have to put the ball on the tee here, it’s automated. You pay per ball. I believe it’s about $.14 per ball on most days, but on Mondays, it’s $.09 and Thursdays it’s $.11 per ball. Not a bad deal!
