In summary

Rob Roy Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and challenging layout, offering a fun and engaging experience for golfers. The staff is often described as friendly and professional, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere, and the amenities, including food and drink facilities, receive positive remarks. However, some visitors express concerns about customer service in the pro shop and the proximity of the course to streets and homes, which can lead to issues with stray balls. Additionally, the booking fee policy and sand trap maintenance have been points of contention for some.

Went in on a Saturday to tell them one of their golfers hit my windshield with a golf ball on Friday afternoon. They found it funny and laughed...They golf pretty much on Wheeling Rd. If the ball is not hit straight but to the right it will hit a car. The golfer was a minor with no adult present.

Have been golfing here for over 10 years and have never met a more rude pro shop. Two elderly gentleman that work the pro shop are always in a bad mood. Don’t work in customer service if you don’t enjoy your job.

I’ve been golfing here for the past 13 years or so and have never met more rude and unprofessional rangers/workers at a golf course before. Always feeling unhappy coming out of the pro shop.

I had an amazing golf experience today at Rob Roy Golf Course. The Pro Shop Attended that checked me in as well as Attended after my round was very professional and friendly. The golf course was in amazing condition, as well as a pace of play is very acceptable. A hidden Gem as the Pro said, I agree 100%. Locals should be very proud. I will definitely play again when I’m back in town.

BEWARE OF BOOKING FEES Course charges $5 for booking a tee time. This is on top of the cost to play there. If you need to cancel the tee time they keep the $5 booking fee. I worked at golf courses for 15 years and never seen a course do this. Very poor customer service and poor business practice. Wish they would have a lower price for children. I have a 4 and 6 year old that I want to get into golf. But I cant see paying normal rates for them in that they only play 2-4 holes at a time. Other course in the area has a discounted rate at the very end of the day for children. Course has a lot of…

Very challenging course. Must be straight with your golf shots. The greens and fairways are in excellent condition.

Excellent nine hole layout. Adequate maintenance of grass areas. Nice greens. Poor maintenance of large sand traps. Can be very busy and slow play with senior leagues. Call ahead to check. Food and drink facilities are excellent and reasonably priced.

I am not a golfer, but a resident of Rob Roy CC Village. I love the fact that you have allowed some of the open space to go back to natural grasses, etc. What I don't understand is why the entrance to the club hasn't been cleaned up. There are many dead trees and dead branches welcoming your golfers into the parking lot. Not a great first impression and does not compliment our immaculate community

Course was in great condition. Staff was extremely friendly. Price was affordable. I apologize to the surrounding house for the wakeup balls. Had a great time.

A solid little 9 hole golf course. I'd consider it an intermediate difficulty that's narrow with close proximity to streets and homes. Course is well maintained with the exception of the bunkers. For the price of 9 holes I can't complain too much, and it's possibly just the time of year, but the sand traps could have been given some attention. That said, it won't detract me from playing there again.
