In summary

Old Orchard Country Club is frequently praised for its beautiful venue, well-maintained golf course, and accommodating staff, making it a popular choice for weddings and events. The picturesque setting and quality of food also receive high marks. However, some visitors have criticized the course's pricing, pace of play, and certain aspects of its condition, noting that better value options are available elsewhere.

The venue was absolutely beautiful, and Pam was amazing. She paid close attention to all my requests. The staff were so sweet and helped me pack my centerpieces and dessert table decor back into the boxes. The food was served warm, and even when I had to change the time at the last minute, they were so accommodating and said yes to everything I asked. View 10/10 . Service 10/10 . Pam and staff 10/10

Went here for a golf outing through a Contractor of My Building and had a blast! The course was in tremendous shape and We played a really good round. I would definitely go here again and if You golf, I recommend that You give this track a try. Also They have a great Banquet facility for wedding receptions.

A premier private club with impeccable service and outstanding amenities. The championship golf course is always in tournament condition, and the dining experience is first-class. The tennis facilities and swimming pool make it a perfect family destination

I was hired to take photos here for a quincianera. I'm a photographer from Chicago and I loved taking pictures here! The greenery made for a beautiful backdrop and the place itself was grandious. Very well lit.

"This is the Neighbor-Proof horizon of Mt. Prospect, where the Neighbor-to-Neighbor tradition is etched into every acre of this 1930s legacy. As an Architect of Trust, I recognize Old Orchard as a premier Resource node that continues to set the 2026 pace for regional excellence. The synchronicity here is undeniable; the club is fluent in the community’s need for both recreation and high-impact events. They are aggressive about maintaining a gold-standard environment that serves as the green heart of the grid. This isn't just a fairway—it’s a Godnews-level pillar of the local architecture."

We had our wedding at Old Orchard Country Club in May 2022 and it was wonderful! Brianna, the event coordinator, deserves all the credit, as it would not have been the same without her help. Brianna was so detail oriented and it felt like she really cared for our wedding as if it were her own - she ensured that everything went seamlessly. The venue provided an arch (pictured) that we were able to add our florals too, which eliminated our need to search for or build an arch for ourselves. The highlights of this venue in our opinion are: 1. The ability to have an outdoor ceremony and the flexibi…

The course was in good shape mostly, but wow the employee working the register at the pro shop and the starter were remarkably rude. We started at 7:15am and didn’t finish until noon. Price just didn’t reflect the experience. I also felt that a lot of the holes were particularly dangerous with other holes hitting towards you. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard fore yelled so many times in one day. With the numerous amazing options around the Chicago area, I’d pass on playing here.

This is a public course with a country club experience. Open golf, tournaments, outings, etc. Proshop. Driving range. Bar and Grill. The clubhouse was recently renovated and the food and beverage operation under new management. Two gorgeous spaces with a floor to ceiling view of 18-hole golf course with ponds, fountains, trees and flowered paths plus an outdoor porch. The head chef has 30+ years' experience. Gorgeous bridal suite with private restrooms, makeup vanity with lighted mirrors, hidden storage locker, comfortable lounge seating, and a spacious dressing room. Perfect spot for weddings…

A truly well maintained and operated golf course. A gem to enjoy and play. Very clean and professional, a great course to play if you are looking for value and overall enjoyment.

First, you have to deal with the snotty, unprofessional lady at the front named Sarah. No one told this girl that you’re in PIKE COUNTY, not the Hamptons. After that you’re charged $30 for just a cart. That’s right. $30. Just for a cart. But don’t worry. They only have about seven old carts on this run down course that borders industrial power lines, so that’s a non-issue anyway. Calling this rundown dump a “country club” is like calling McDonalds a steakhouse.

Greens were in decent shape, almost every tee box was torn apart, no cart staff and way overpriced. 87 for a round and cart for a golf course that is in terrible shape. No thanks, better courses for much less not worth it

Abigail at the Old Orchard Country Club is super nice, well organized and fun to work with. You can tell that she likes her job. The food is perfectly prepared and delicious and later in the evening, this cute little Asian lady named Bonnie takes over the management from Abigail. Bonnie was passing out bottled water and letting everyone know that there was still some midnight pizza to take home. She is as cute as a button and made the night very enjoyable. Great place for wedding or a party! Ray – The Connexion Band
