This is a private golf club. You can only use this facility if you are a member or accompany a member. The club is over one hundred years old and has all the charm of a traditional golf club. The course is impeccably maintained, and the grounds keepers ensure the greens, tee boxes, and landscaping is top notch. The restaurant has excellent food, and sometimes an enormous buffet. There is an 18, and 9 hole course, as well as a driving range. There's even indoor golf during the winter months. I love the groomed cross country skiing.

Premier private golf course in Ottawa region. I had the good fortune to be invited as a guest and I was not disappointed. I've been to other private clubs where being a POC invited looks of suspicion and in some places agro behavior, sometimes passive - sometimes not. This was not the case at the Royal Ottawa. I felt welcomed and treated well by all the staff and other members I interacted with. Beautiful older course. One of the greens is original / over 100 years old. Nice driving range to warm-up on. I hope to return as soon as possible.
