In summary

Golf Tecumseh is appreciated for its beautiful location in Gatineau, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play, overbooking, and inconsistent course conditions, which have led to dissatisfaction for a number of players. Additionally, there are concerns about customer service, particularly regarding course management and handling of cancellations.

Beautiful golf course. Friendly staff and nice pro shop. The greens are gorgeous!!! Well maintained golf course in the heart of Gatineau by the Ottawa River. Well maintained and clean gold carts. Fun course. Will definitely be returning. I’m learning to like golf :) my hubby been playing for many years and he loves golf. So he’s been teaching me. I enjoy playing here it’s a nice course in the heart of Gatineau, very easy to get to.

Probably one of the slowest courses I’ve played at. Stopped playing here for a few years and just remembered why. Over-booking the course, overall poor course management/etiquette, along with a bunch of entitled members makes for a long day of waiting between shots. If you value your time, just go play anywhere else.

First time there, they over book like crazy, I showed up 20 mins early and waited in line to pay for 20 mins then when I go to get my cart they said I have to join the group who is on the second hole, so I got half way there and the cart was broken, it couldn’t make it up the hill, by the time I got a new cart and met with the group I missed the first 2 holes, and when I mentioned it to the person giving out carts she just shrugged, not to mention, a 10 min wait between holes, brutal.

Played my first round of the season here the other day, and I have to say I will not be coming back. Not only was the course in terrible condition (pictured below is the green of the 6th hole that has a pile of sand in the middle of it), but my group and I were also approached, and then followed for two holes by a course marshal because we were playing "too slow." It was our first time out this season, and we were playing at a pretty good pace, seeing as we were a group of four who were walking. At times, we were even waiting on the tee box for the green to clear of people. Though we tried to…

Part of my review is due the really dry conditions probably did not help making the ground feel really hard. I was disappointed no cart service on the course exec’t if there is a tournament. If you are just learning to play it could be good value price wise.

What an incredible day at Club de Golf Técumseh! Our fundraiser tournament was a huge success — and we owe it all to the amazing team at Club de Golf Técumseh! A massive thank you to Hugues Fournier, the dedicated manager who runs a top-tier operation, and to Line Bertrand, our liaison and the administrator who made every detail run smoothly and on time. You two were phenomenal! To Sergio and his crew out on the course — wow! Everything was in perfect shape... just flawless. And let’s not forget the catering team and kitchen staff — thank you for the delicious food and attentive service.…

I am part of a group of 12 that plays at this course every Thursday afternoon. It’s conveniently located, easily accessible and has a good mixed layout with some challenging holes. I have been playing here since the 90s, and one thing that has always stood out was the quality of their greens. The staff are as welcoming as could be. Every week we get exceptional service from all the staff (the bar, management, pro shop, starter etc). Thanks to everyone there who make it so inviting!!

There are a bunch of courses in the area save your self the trouble, we got pushed by the marshalls for being slow even though no one was waiting on us, once at the 15th hole and once more at the 17th hole at wich point theres not much we can do to go faster, when confronted Serge (the marshall) got frustrated and said things like "you shouldn't be playing golf if you're this slow" and replied to our response that we wouldn't come here again with "good i'm glad" this is unprofessional and not the way to handle the situation. We went to the manager (Huges) to explain what happened, he met us in…

One of the worst courses Ive played. No fairways. Just rough everywhere. Hills everywhere. Not a single cart girl. Also took 1hr 20 to play 6 holes and not a marshall in sight
