In summary

Gorge Vale Golf Club is praised for its challenging and well-maintained course, offering diverse and engaging play with scenic views. The clubhouse and dining facilities receive high marks for quality food and friendly service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the club is generally well-regarded, some visitors have experienced issues with course signage and bunker maintenance, and there have been occasional concerns about membership policies and food service consistency.

Excellent course! VERY ATHLETIC walking course. Be ready to get a workout. Downhills, uphills, long narrow fairways, sand traps and tough greens. Great course for $88 cdn.

As a recent member of Gorge Vale Golf Club, I can offer some fresh perspective on both the membership process and the club itself. Firstly, I must commend Mike, who assists with memberships. His assurance about the fantastic community at Gorge Vale is absolutely spot on. The sense of camaraderie and warmth here is truly something special. The course itself is a joy to play on. It's engaging and diverse enough that I never find myself growing tired of it. Each game is a new experience, and I genuinely cherish the time spent on this beautifully maintained course. The quality of golf here is out…

Very Fun and good, especially for families and friends. The animals and the vue is amazing. it's a bit close to the road and can be noisy, but overall very good golf. I reccoemnd

We were fortunate to play this beautiful golf course in immaculate condition. The food and service we received from booking with the GM that accommodated our holiday stay to the friendly pro shop guys and the great service we received from the dining staff. Food was fresh and so good. I highly recommend this course if you get the chance to play.

Food was excellent!!! Great prices and tasty, house made food. I will definitely be back. I met up with a couple of friends there. We ate outside and the service was good. Our server Lindsay was awesome. Safe distanced and wore a mask. Local micro brew beers were available. That is all we will drink so we were happy!

Great food enjoyed by four of us. Crisp cold salads, thick well filled sandwiches and the fried items on combo platter were perfect. Crisp and not greasy. As you can tell everyone ordered something different. Wonderful service by a young woman who was very attentive even though we were the only table enjoying lunch on the patio. Recommended for all.

Saturday afternoon we stopped for lunch in Victoria. The waitress asked if we were members and when we said we were not, she advised us we couldn’t eat there. Who knew? Now we do!

This place is one of my regular lunch spots for taking work meetings. They have a fantastic cobb salad, and their fries are fantastic as well. They also serve great coffee. The only reason I dropped a star is because they had to tweak their menu, and in that tweak, the portions decreased, which was one of my favourite aspects in terms of value. That said, the existing portions at present are totally similar to comparable establishments in Victoria for the price point, and the view is super. (sit on the deck in the summer!)

Best track in Victoria. Very challenging course and always in awesome condition. Stay out of the rough! Great clubhouse, lounge/dining area, and food menu. Pro shop has pretty good selection for its size and prices are competitive

I have been here a few times but my most recent visit was for a wedding reception. I was the videographer, and although the food was good, and the service was terrific the lighting was not. I wished that I could've had a bit more light for the video of the lovely couple and the wedding party.

For $94 I'd expect the sand to be consistent throughout the course and for the bunkers to be raked regularly. Some of them were pretty crusty. Also there was some kind of event at the cemetery so 2 holes were shortened without warning. Otherwise the course was great. Greens and fairways were perfect.
