Victoria Golf Club

Hands down my favorite course and club in Victoria. Steeped in tradition and class, this is a special place and I feel honored to be able to experience it. The front 9 plays along the scenic oceanfront and the back 9 is unassumingly difficult despite the shorter course length. Fantastic conditions and greens. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Food and service in the clubhouse are also the best I've had. Never get tired of this place and always a treat to spend time here.

What a picturesque private course. If you ever get a chance to play here you will not be disappointed. Most of the first 9 holes are played along the coastline which makes for some stunning views. Not uncommon to see deer wandering around the course and eagles flying overhead.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been a full member here since 2012 and it has truly become a second home for me. The course is always kept in excellent condition, the clubhouse has a warm welcoming atmosphere, the staff go above and beyond for members and guests. Kids love it here too. Over the years our family has built lasting family friendships and have always felt part of a supportive local community. I’m now serving on a membership’ committee, which has given me even more appreciation for how much care and effort goes into making this club special for all. When land reconciliation comes around to Oak Bay, I hope this is the first place to go! Nothing romantic about gatekeeping a giant section of seafront that could be enjoyed by more than just a handful of golfers.

We were here for a wedding that was held on the golf course. Even though it was cloudy that day it was a beautiful place for a wedding to be held. The view across the water was lovely! Also the wedding reception put on by the golf club was very well organized and the food was delicious. Great service and atmosphere!

Visited dining room for a planned group event dinner. Buffet was very good. Service and drinks also good.

Hosted a large event here and organization, Communication and Service was great . The staff is amazing especially Anna the events manager .

Had the "crab cakes", a burned collection of three deep-fried balls of hard batter and a pinch of dried crab in the middle. The battered fish also didn't survive the deep fryer: burned and dry. The Ceasar salad was good, as were the pastas my friends enjoyed. I expected far better food from such a revered club.

Breathtaking view, lovely location, the terrain is very well taken care of. Great place, even for walks nearby!

Had the pleasure of playing with a friend that is a member. Absolutely gorgeous course and I have played all over the world. Hats off to the greens keepers who do an amazing job. In fact everyone was very friendly. Beautiful views on a first class course. A memory I will never forget.

I don't play golf, and I've never played at this golf course, but if YOU play here, you will see this brick wall back in 2008!😆
