In summary

Grandover Resort & Conference Center is appreciated for its beautiful golf courses, comfortable accommodations, and welcoming staff. Guests enjoy the dining options and vibrant atmosphere, particularly the live music and bar area. However, some visitors have noted that parts of the resort, including the spa and rooms, feel outdated and in need of maintenance, and there have been occasional service issues such as housekeeping and valet.

Love sneaking away to Grandover for special weekends! Once you are there, there's no reason to leave until time to check out. The food is great. Beautiful golf courses. The resort is laid out great. The bar and live music are perfectly located. Always a great trip. Thank you!

Hotel was clean, desk staff welcoming. They had beautiful music playing in the restaurant/lounge in the evenings. Came for a girls weekend mainly to use the spa and services. Clean but dated, changing areas are small. Several areas under maintenance. We had to use the locker rooms in a different area different floor, than where the spa lockers where located. Spa staff seemed like they were going through the motions. Overall enjoyed

This is one of my favorite places for a getaway locally. My last visit wasn't so great. We got in late and needed a microwave. They didn't have them in the room, but I didn't realize there is no access to one at all. This is an upscale resort and I didn't have a way to heat up my meal?!? The room is very outdated. The edges were dirty and rusty. I paid $30 for a nasty omelet. It ended up in the trash with the rest of my cold food. We got a late checkout so that we could explore the hotel with our 7 year old daughter. She was interested in the gingerbread houses. At 11:07 we get a loud bangin…

We have had a Feb weekend retreat here for the past 3 years and this year our experience was disappointing. To name a few: stains on "clean" unused by us fitted sheet, conditioner in shower was empty, and on a different floor other people with our retreat had a room beside drunk guests who were loud, sounded like they were wrestling and throwing items in the room, and knocking on their door that "they had more drinks." Security was called both two nights in a row about drunk guests. Couple asked to move rooms the first night and were told this could not be done. Drunk guests were asked to turn…

This is our second time to the Grandover! We have had excellent experiences both times that we stayed here. This time we had free full Breakfast coupons that they complementary gave to us and the breakfast was really good . We ordered room service and they were quick and the food was good and hot. The beds are very comfortable. I don't have any complaints. It is a very nice place to stay.!!

First I will say the hotel is beautiful as it should be for the price. It's getting a little tired but still beautiful. A couple of things I encountered that were annoying. One I pulled up on a cold winter day not greeted by valet or a bellhop. I took my luggage in the door and see someone who sings like the valet and was standing inside in the warm. I asked if they could value my car and he said they could and went to get me a ticket. When I asked him if he was familiar with driving a rivian electric suv he said no. I decided to Self park at the charger myself at that point. Still no bellhop…

I didn't experience a room this time. The brunch buffet was phenomenal. I thoroughly enjoyed the omelet, gouda grits, & the waffle. The ambience at Grandover is delightful. I always enjoy the atmosphere. One day I will make a reservation & also appreciate a spa visit. Greensboro offers some thought provoking places to eat & experience the joys of pampering. I appreciate ALL that the Grandover has to offet.

Came here for a monthly outing with 7 good friends and this place was lovely 😍. The waitstaff was superb. The young man who waited on us was perfect. He fit great with the group of women with satin Christmas pajamas celebrating the holidays together. One of us had the Shrimp and Grits and that was extremely good. That was the only entree but we all had a cocktail. I had the Rudy's Red Nose and baby Rudy did not disappoint. It was only 4 ingredients boy was it tasty. And for $15 if I could bring 2 or 3 home for later I would have.

I wanted to make sure that everyone at the Grandover knows what an amazing experience it was to be able to stay here while the Walking for Peace monks visited. It must've been very difficult to manage all of the aspects of the event, but all of you were friendly and kind and accommodating to my family while we were guests. The people in the cafe did a wonderful job of taking care of the huge number of folks in there. But the super star of the Grandover was Kelly Harrill, one of the Grandover's executives. Kelly, you took it upon yourself to approach us personally to see if we were having a goo…

I visited The Spa at Grandover Hotel Resort today with my sister-in-law and my sisters. I had a 50-minute Swedish massage, and I’ll start with the positive—the massage therapist did a good job. He mentioned that I had a lot of tight areas and applied firm pressure to work out those kinks, which I appreciated. The massage itself was relaxing and effective. However, the overall spa experience was somewhat underwhelming. The locker room and bathroom area could definitely use improvement. The robe I was given looked dingy, as if it hadn’t been properly refreshed, and the bathroom had a musty smell…

Spent the weekend here for HPU’s graduation. For my youngest two, it was their first time in a hotel and they loved it. My daughter asked if we could live there. Special mention to Vinson the bellman for being super helpful. And I want to highlight the pool which was beautiful and my kids had the time of their lives. Finial makes incredible, delicious, and beautifully presented food. Having little ones in a hotel that nice can be nerve wracking but everyone was so wonderful, welcoming, and accommodating. Highly recommend

The Grandover is a beautiful and spacious resort with multiple dining, bar, and coffee options. Did not use their spa services but the pool and hot tub were very nice and the locker rooms and showers well appointed. The staff were excellent. Would love to have a chance to return.
