In summary

Green Briar Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly and welcoming staff, affordable pricing, and suitability for beginners and those looking to improve their short game on its par 3 layout. Visitors enjoy the opportunity to practice iron play and the convenience of renting clubs and carts. However, some golfers have noted that the greens and tee boxes could benefit from maintenance and improvement, and there are occasional concerns about the condition of the cart paths.

The owner was really nice and the course is a fun par 3 which is perfect for beginners

18 hole par 3 course that I stumbled upon. The staff was fantastic! Course needs some help. Little to no grass on the tee boxes on any hole. Greens were small and in rough shape as well with lots of weeds and ball marks. Great place to just hit some balls for practice.

Super fun little par 3 short course to go play. Great guy that owns and runs the place, he’s very friendly and laid back. You can walk the course or rent a cart. He also sells balls and rents clubs as well. Very nice putting green right out front to warm up your putting game before you get started. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.

Great place to work on your irons or to take younger children to build confidence. Greens were in good shape, some tee boxes were being improved and still have to fill in. But worth it good iron game golf at a great price

First, the positives. This is a great course for anyone who is still in the learning phase of golf. All holes are Par 3 and it’s a great place for amateurs (or sub amateurs like myself). And it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg as you can play all 18 holes plus the use of a cart for a total of around $22 or so. Can’t beat that. As for the negatives about this place, the cart path needs major work, especially when it ends and you’re not sure where it resumes or if you’re heading in the right direction to get to the next hole on the trail. Other than that, it’s a super deal for affordable golf…

A sweet spot for those focused on improving their short game—then, hopefully, scoring better and enjoying trips to larger courses more. The greens are small, if a bit rough, and the practice green is nice. Friendly place and a good time. Turn slow off of the main road, especially if in a smaller vehicle.

Absolutely a raise hell and praise dale kind of course. The greens have been so-so in the past, but they’ve been redoing all the greens this year. Try this place for yourself and you’ll have a great time. $12 for 18 holes and a cart. Can’t beat that price anywhere.

Convenient location from I-65 with low prices. The course itself is another story. Tee boxes mostly dirt, fairways are ok, and the greens are the worst I’ve seen. Impossible to putt on. Would be/could be an awesome place to practice if the greens were usable. First and last visit unfortunately.

Great value.... probably the best par 3 you're going play in the Birmingham area. Peaceful but some of the greens need work. Tee boxes need a lot of work. But honestly Tom does a great job with his course. It's a fun time.

Good course if you are just looking for some fun. I am not a good golfer so, this is perfect. Longest hole was 220 no need for a driver here. Great $20 course.
