In summary

Green River Golf Course is frequently praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, affordable pricing, and scenic setting, which includes views of mountains and a river. Many visitors enjoy the well-maintained course, though some mention that the greens and sand traps could use improvement. The course offers both traditional and disc golf, with the disc golf layout being noted as fun and challenging. However, a few reviewers have pointed out issues with rental equipment quality and course maintenance.

Got there on a Friday around 5. Donna was great. She helped me out and was the sweetest lady. I asked if they gave a military discount and she said unfortunately they didn’t. No big deal allot of courses don’t. After I was done playing 9 holes I pulled up to my truck to find a surprise from Donna. A set of course pro V1 with a note saying thank you for your service. You can’t beat that. Big shout out to Donna. I’ll be back for sure.

Came to play Disc golf not ball golf. $10 to play 18 holes. $10 additional if you want to rent a golf cart. First time playing the course, I rented a cart, which was ideal. The Disc golf course is great. Good signage. Yardage on holes seems accurate. Good baskets. One can occasionally get turned around or potentially throw at a wrong basket but that was probably just mistakes made on my part. Not a super technical course, some tough 500+ ft par 3's. The course definitely has its challenges and is well worth playing, multiple times.

I honestly would give it 0 stars, 1st off the guy in the pro shop was arrogant and rude, not friendly at all... the course was in really bad shape, (the greens mostly) the greens weren't really what I would even consider greens...more like regular grass cut as low as a regular lawn mower could go... I had to rent a set of clubs, ( not even a matching nor even a full set)...the driver has such a worn out grip, I didn't really even dare use, I was afraid of it slipping outta my hands.. It didn't come with a 3 wood or a 7 iron and no balls or tees clubs were older and cheaper than dirt... please…

We had lots of fun! Small town golf but the course is still well maintained. The staff was super nice and prices are hard to beat.

What a neat 9 hole golf course. It's in great shape as of Oct 2, 2024. It wraps around the State campground. It's 22.00 with a cart. It has views of the mts, river and it is so quiet and peaceful. The gals at the clubhouse are very friendly and kept thanking me for being there. I had the course all to myself at 8:30am. There were four vehicles in the lot when I finished. No t time needed. No dress code. Just come and have some fun.

We had a great time for a 9 hole course! The greens needs some work, but the rest of the course was in awesome shape! We were able to take our time and get a few more extra swings in.. Friendly staff also!

I love courses like these and especially the people that golf at them. Leave the polo shirt at home and come play on a working mans course. See you end of June. I’m staying in RV across pond from hole 2 green.

Very fun course. The greens were nice and except for a few dry spots the fairways were in good condition. I wouldn't hit out of the sand as there were too many stones. 5 stars for the price and condition of most of the course.

3.5 Greens are in way better shape than last summer; some dead/brown spots but they dont have the kind of divoted texture they had in 2022 when putts routinely got knocked wayyyy off line. Construction on #7 has that hole as a ~90 yard par 3. They changed #6 to a par 5 while doing nothing to it, making it go from the hardest hole on the course to the easiest. Doubtful that construction will end in 2023 and curious if #7 will return to its former state once the new trailer cabins go up. $15 for 9, never anybody there, cool holes along the river, lots of birds. Don't expect Texas or Florida g…
