Greenbriar Oceanaire Golf and Country Club

Attended a car show at Greenbriar with our British Car Club. I am on the right side with the club president and my 1999 Jag XK-8 In British Racing Green. Other than the car show I didn’t experience much of the club but it looked beautiful. The hosts were very accommodating.

Visited a relative who lives there. The place is beautiful and has lots of amenities. This photograph was taken off-grounds looking across Barnegat Bay (close by) showing Long Beach Island State Park on left and Barnegat Lighthouse on right.

We hosted my family at the restaurant (6 adults and 3 kids) all of whom enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The menu had a large selection and was very reasonably priced and portions were huge! Our server, Sarah, was very attentive and efficient.

Love the course and we had an excellent dinner in the club house.

My parents live here and I love this place. The bartenders are always friendly, and the lifeguards are always talkative. The golf course is pretty righteous too!

We moved here this last year after years of visiting friends here a few times each year. So, we knew we were coming to Shangr-La, and we haven't been disappointed. The beautiful grounds and clubhouse, top flight golf course, a multitude of fun activities and clubs, nearby fishing, boating and ocean beaches, and most of all, friendly, kind and helpful neighbors and residents throughout the community, make this welcoming community second to none in NJ. We worked with Mary at Greenbriar to plan a wonderful luau event.. Everyone was so friendly, the residents were great, the food was beautiful! Loved the experience all around!

I visited almost every over 55 community in NJ and scored everyone. Greenbriar was by far the best value and most friendly of all. I have been here for 9 years and I still feel I made the right decision. It is like heaven on earth. PS - I do not golf but I know several golfers and they tell me the golfing is really good.

The course is in great shape especially the greens, very fast and true.

Very well kept landscaping. Food in restaurant was excellent. Many things to do if interested.Activities, pools, exercise rooms, pool tables, people playing cards, etc. Just went there as a guest but see management know what they are doing.

We each had something different, Chicken Parm, Chicken Marsala and Chicken Francese and all tasted great. Attentive service too!
