New to Nashville have played all the top public courses Greystone, legacy , Towee, Nashboro, honestly Harpeth Hills is in the best shape and can give them all a run for their money !! Course is in super shape greens fast and firm , traps consistent and had a deep bottom . Rough is deep if you miss the fairways. Lots of up hill greens and mounding on the fairways!! Large sloping greens don’t get any better in the area of anywhere , PS $30 lol. Interesting long doglegs and cool par threes ! Definitely play here , enjoy ! Very friendly staff including a starter and water coolers omg they have wha…

I played there two times this weekend in a 4some of old guys; 70’s . We travel to golf, and this golf course is by far the worst when it comes to service and practice facilities! At every course we have travelled to, when we arrive, we are greeted and our bags are picked up and placed on a cart. After we have completed our round, our clubs are cleaned and they assist us in placing our bags in our vehicles. The Hermitage had no service! None! Not even anyone helping on either day! They are very proud of the course charging over $100 per round; and no service. The driving range is dirt, not gras…

Great course in great condition. Even with the amount of rain recently, the course is fabulous. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to playing here many more times.

Beautiful course. Top notch setting, with rolling hills, and old trees. I've seen deer and turkeys wander over from Percy Warner Park. The back nine adjoins the Steeplechase horse track venue. It's the best Metro Nashville course and the best value in the Nashville area.

Well maintained and challenging course! I came here recently for a company golf tournament and loved it! The driving range is great (although they prefer mats), and the tee boxes seem to traditionally have a great view. I will say I was thoroughly exhausted after my round with how much Course their seemed to be, but I definitely think I got my money’s worth! Love the course.

The course is beautiful all season. Great to walk. The reviews about customer service are harsh, but fairly accurate. Sometimes it feels like they don’t want you to play, but once you’ve tee’d off, who cares. Pictured is just when the trees are starting to get leaves again - mid March.

I called this past Saturday morning @530 am to reserve a tee time in the morning. After the 4th time calling still before 6 am they answered the phone. Asked them for an early tee time and she told me the first available was 11:50am . I said how?? She said there were people standing outside the doors and they have first dibs and 2 people answering phones after that..so I said so your telling me that many people have been standing outside since 5-5:30 am to reserve a spot for next Saturday?? She said yea and I said bull!! For a public course there is some shady stuff going on ! I drive by the c…

They don’t even deserve a star, it just stormed, and now it is beautiful outside. However, nobody will be allowed to play til 4:30, and it’s obvious the workers just want to go home😡😡😡

Always run into issues playing this course. Not consistent and not worth it. Called to get a tee time, told me I’m good to come in, then once we arrive we are told they aren’t accepting walk ons. They don’t post anything online to let people know either. Frustrating considering it’s a public city course. Goodluck trying to get them on the phone too to make a tee time.

As usual, the pro shop staff paired me up with two really nice people after I checked in. I always play as a single, and Harpeth Hills staff finds a way to link me with the most polite golfers. I played with two guys, Dean and Aaron, and we had a pretty decent front nine. If you want to treat yourself to a beautiful public municipal golf course, I highly recommend Harpeth Hills. The retro clubhouse has a comfortable atmosphere, and the course is always well maintained. The back nine is very challenging, and in the Fall the scenery is spectacular! ✌️👍🥇

Good public course and staff. Greens are still a tad hard when they switched to champion Bermuda a few years back from Bent, but getting better and roll true compared to others. I’ve seen them roll close to 12.

Conditions are fine. Starter is super cranky and got onto my group for pace of play. Told us to do better. We finished in a hair over 4 hours and were on the group in front’s tail the entire time. There were zero behind us the entire time.
