What People Say

In summary

Percy Warner Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained condition, enjoyable layout, and affordability, making it a popular choice among golfers of all skill levels. The recent renovations have enhanced the course's appeal, with new bunkers and improved greens being particularly well-received. However, some visitors mention issues with the availability of carts, especially for those in need, and occasional slow pace of play due to crowding. Additionally, there are minor concerns about the condition of the practice putting green and communication difficulties when trying to book tee times.

Great place for practice, but practice putting green really needs to be punched and rolled or it won’t be healthy for long. Getting bumpy and inconsistent. Worked hard on bringing this course back, hopefully it’s well taken care of. Also, the online scorecard is wrong and so is GHIN. It’s a par 33 with three par 3s and six par 4s, unless hole nine is considered a long par 3.

This is by far my favorite public course in Nashville. Ever since they renovated it couple years back it’s great. They do a fairly good job of spacing you out when they have starters. Relaxing 9-hole course to walk. Geared more toward short game (par 3s and short par 4s).

Beautiful and simple, 9-hole course. Great course to walk but carts are available to rent as well as clubs. No tee time needed. Note: the nashville.gov site lists 18-hour pricing for Percy Warner but again, this is a 9-hole course. No water hazards. Only a couple of holes have sand traps. The tees and greens are a bit shabby but playable. All-in-all, a great value for money and lovely scenery.

This place was closed when I moved to Nashville and was so pumped to play it once it opened and this place DID NOT disappoint! It is awesome, clean and the course is in great shape! Catch me here nearly every Saturday cause I can’t get enough!

Spray arms and legs with bug spray before teeing off. Biting flies swarm you if you stand still for more than a few seconds. No complaints about the track. In great shape. Greens could be given more attention. Fix the bugs and it’s 4.5 stars.

Amazing! One of my favorite places to play. Amazing staff and the course is always in great shape. The renovations made to the course made it so much more fun as well. I wish they would just fix their phone! Calls don’t go through a lot! Overall, amazing course and staff. Andy at the front is phenomenal and always looking forward to a conversation with her.

This 9 hole course is just fun. It has been under a remodel for a year and a half and it was worth the wait. The course is in get shape, the greens are in fantastic shape. For someone that broke his knee cap over 2 months ago, the addition of carts for handicap people will allow me to get back to playing golf sooner. So look forward to playing again.

REAL hole-by-hole review for those who have waited two years to play the course. Played for 25 years before it closed for renovations. You should come play TODAY! Hole 1: Two-tiered green separated by a 3-foot incline. Bunker short right, but let’s be real, everyone ends up right anyways. Hole 2: Much more open tee shot to the right. Don’t hit your tee shot long and left, the rough is intense on this hole and others. Bunkers short right of the green are tricky, anything left of the green is just fine. Hole 3: Green is wide and very fun, excited to see a pin on the left side of the green. Th…

The remodel just made Percy Warner better. New well placed bunkers and the green complexes are excellent. Does get backed up with people trying to drive every green but if you just take an iron off the short tees it shouldn’t take more than 90 minutes to play.

Solid 9 hole track for a great price. A lot of short par 4s, but good variety. Beautiful tree lined fairways, very walkable. Greens were slow but smooth. Highly recommend for a quick 9 for all skill levels.

Carts should be made available to those that obviously need them. 76yr old with 12 yr old grandson on a 95 degree day could have ended very bad! They stopped after 6 holes feeling nauseous and dizzy. At least exceptions made on very hot days. To bad that no carts will probably keep many from playing your course
