It's one of the best kept agricultural secrets kept under wraps (literally)! At $30.00 for 9 & $50.00 for 18 with a cart, it's a wonder all the greens in the area are not like HCC. They're brutally beautiful and faster than a lead foot drag racer. Some think this should be at the very least - the standard. I believe HCC has the most slippery putting greens in the area. Yes, I could be wrong; but, if I'm right, most regular (Pee Dee) golfers will agree with that observation. Came in today to play golf and eat. Foods was okay, course was good but the bar tender freaking sucked! Couldn’t keep my glass full while eating. Never got my alcoholic drink to me that I ordered, thankfully he didn’t charge me for it. I think he was high or something kept smelling a hint of marijuana coming off of him.

Went for 1st time today, only reason not a 5 star, little pricey $60 fairways are good shape, greens excellent shape, sand bunkers need a little attention, staff really nice, club house really nice, definitely going back.

Visited for a private lunch meeting, room was quite warm, food was only so-so. Was surprised that our private group was sent to another room to get our buffet lunch and stand in line with public guests. This cut into our lunch meeting time.

I love this golf course. The layout is fantastic, and they were always accommodating when I played there on the Coker University golf team. I plan on becoming a member there one day. Nice clubhouse and beautiful scenery, especially on the back 9.
