Cheraw Country Club

Final course of the 5 we played on our SC trip last month. It was a great experience. The course was beautiful and was just the right amount of a challenge for the average golfer. The staff was great as well. This has become a fixture for the 12-15 of us on our annual SC trip.

The most peaceful rounds of golf I have ever had. My favorite part is the walk across the water after the first par 3 on the back nine. 10 stars for the Cheraw maintenance staff, superintendent, and of golf course the pro shop staff

Apparently, there was a recent issue with a renter trashing the grounds and due to this, the owner decided to no longer allow ANY RENTALS. We completely understood this. However, they decided not to honor the commitments that were already made and the bookings that were already done prior to the incident. Parents are finding out the day of their events that they are cancelled and that's just bad business. You have people coming from different towns and states to celebrate an event only to find out they are no longer able to have it there. We were very disappointed about my son's 14th birthday…

Nice building to have a affair at. Not to big but just right for a crowd of 60-100 people. My Dj friend did a party for our cousin’s lady. Nice party it was

I have been playing golf for over 30 years. Unfortunately, today's round marks my worst golf experience. First, when my foursome showed up at 8:00am, the proshop was still closed, and no golf carts were were ready. (Nevermind warming up with a bucket of range balls!) From an overheard conversation, the golf pro was still home indisposed from the previous night's activities. By 8:30, golf maintenance left to get keys from the golf pro to gain access to the golf carts as several foursomes were waiting to tee off. Awesome place to play 18 holes. Tim Hicks is a great man and Superintendent. Peggy Hicks is working the pro shop and does a great job.

It's a great course to play...in good shape and well kept up ... I would advise everyone to try it out ... think you will enjoy it as much as we all do here in cheraw ...

Great course, with that old Country Club vibe. Greens, fairways in great shape, and the staff was as nice as they could be. As nice as ANY course in the area.

The course is in super good shape for a state park. Plus super clean air filters in rest room 😉

I would highly recommend Moree's Cheraw Country Club. The customer service is great and the course is very nice.

Greens are ok. Grass is in major need of cutting. Fairways look like rough and the rough looks like a field of weeds.

Great place to swim and play golf if you are looking for a nice quiet time
