In summary

Twin Valley Country Club is appreciated for its friendly and welcoming staff, unique course layout with distinct front and back nines, and affordable pricing. Many golfers enjoy the challenging elevation changes and the improvements made to the greens. However, some visitors point out issues with the cart paths, fairways, and bunkers, indicating that the course is still a work in progress.

One of the closest courses to me. It's a fun, but sometimes challenging course. The staff has been good to me. The elevation changes at Twin Valley make the course challenging. They do a good job at keeping the fairways and most of the greens playable. Some of the cart paths need some heavy work, but they are and have made some upgrades. I have no real complaints. Even the shop puppy is friendly.

Not a single green was fully grass. Cart paths are non existent, the fairways are all sloped to one or the other side and very little grass is on the fairways so the ball rolls off to either edge. The bunkers are extremely hard and filled with rocks. It’s a cool layout but it’s very hard for newer players and maintenance is a not up to par.

Reminded me of Mario World with the elevation changes... said in a good way, I liked it. Cart paths , when renovated, will make this even better. The puppy in the shop was the best part. Friendly staff too. Not 5 stars as it was 5 bucks for like 15 crappy found balls to use on the warm up range. Either invest in cheap yet new range balls and provide a few more with purchase of round or make it free. Not that 5 dollars breaks the bank, but it's principal and the right thing if you want to elevate the status or experience for people to drive out to nowhere... it really is close to not much so ma…

Pros: Laid back -nice pro shop and people -nice carts - cool downhill holes Cons: -no difference between the fairway and rough - no cart paths - no takes for bunkers - genuinely the worst tee boxes I’ve ever played at - greens were HORRID - no actual food

We had a good time here. It's a unique course and was worth the hour drive for me. Some of the things I liked: - Lots of interesting holes. No two are very similar to each other. - Greens are in good shape with a variety of slopes. They play on the slower side, but not bumpy. - The staff is really friendly. The owner said the course is a little bit of a work in progress. I can see that in the cart paths, but the course was a great change of pace for me, and you can't beat the price.

Such a beautiful course and even nicer staff. 10/10 recommend going. Short, challenging holes with lots of scenery. Definitely coming back.

Took my family and had a great time. Take more golf balls than you think you need, the trees and water are hungry out there!

Played here over the weekend. Amazing experience. Awesome staff. Made me feel like I was apart of their family. Overly courteous and excellent price. If you are in the area I strongly recommend playing some golf here. Challenging course that is making improvements by the day. Soon this place will be a NC staple.

I've been playing golf for over 40 years. I've never met a friendlier more helpful staff staff! This course has SOO much potential. It reminds me a bit Tot Hill Farms. Played (walked) the tips which was only 6101yd/136 slope the morning of Mar 27. The greens on the front nine designed by Donald Ross are diabolical, especially #7 a 171yd par-3. God help you if you are not pin high. The back nine designed by Gary Player has tighter fairways but larger greens. If you miss a fairway pray the first cut catches your ball. Otherwise bring a spatula, you're gonna be scrambling. Hole #10 is a bit of…

Really can't be beat at the price point. Staff is super friendly and tee times are plentiful. Cart paths need some work. Will definitely be back.
