Loch Haven Golf Center

My son had his wedding there last weekend and it was lovely. Maddy, the event manager, was super helpful. Jenn, the bartender for the Rehearsal Dinner, I held at the venue as well, went above and beyond. Everybody worked hard to make this event the best ever. And the ambiance of the Golf Course with the treelined drive and beautiful picturesque surroundings gave plenty of backdrop scenes for photos. Thank you so much!!!

Had a wonderful experience using one of their two simulators with my son. I myself was able to get in nine holes the prior day each time I visited the course the staff was nothing but helpful and very accommodating super place to play With professional staff

We chose Lockhaven as our wedding venue and were extremely happy with our choice. As you can see in one of the photos, our wedding was during the (first) flood. Lockhaven was only open for 3 days before our wedding and they worked tirelessly to make sure everything was cleaned and accessible for our guests. We were very lucky to have our wedding there as the water quickly rose above accessibility levels the weekend following. My husband was a marshall for 5 years at this course. When he passed away, I was contacted by Rob that they wanted to put on a 9 hole, 2 man scramble in Mike's memory. I didn't have to do anything but show up with some albums and a list of charities. There was food provided also. I can't thank all those involved in setting it up and allowing it to take place enough.

We had guests in to play golf on this blazing hot weekend. We had a wonderful time at Lockhaven. Rob went above and beyond to insure our guests were treated like Lockhaven family! This is the second time Rob has gone the extra mile for our guests. He stayed open when my husband had a small outing of 44 guests so they could all continue to have a good time! 💜⛳️

DO NOT GO IF NOT A MEMBER. As a 2x4 man group playing a scramble we were harassed from the start from the pro staff. Overpriced for an subpar course. Course conditions were awful. Greens was slow and mostly dead. Fairways were even worse. In most spots there is not grass at all. Pace of play was not good. Waiting 15-20 minutes every time on the groups ahead. Ended up getting kicked off because a pro staff thought we were the ones taking too long. Pro staff told a friend he cannot golf because he does not have his clubs(using his friend’s clubs) Pro staff told him is a “weekend rule” even tho t…

I haven’t played Lockhaven in years and it continues to impress. This course is a hidden gem in the Metro East and has the friendliest staff. Special shout-out to Rob and his team for renting me a set of clubs while I was in town and treating me like royalty. I can’t wait to come back and play again!

Disappointed!! What a difference a couple of years make in course conditions. Our large Sunday group always at least makes a trip there once a year and it might be the last for the forseeable future.The course has really gone down hill over the past few years. Fairways that use to be nice and plush are just basically weeds and the tee boxes are bare with just weeds that need to be cut, some boxes were very overgrown. The latest reviews are right on the money about course conditions. I really hope they can get back to what they once were. Lockhaven lets get back to your roots!!

Our group had a great time this weekend. Thumbs up to the staff and their help. We had heard great things about the course, and we were not disappointed. The photos on the website do not do it justice. Fantastic course, and it was a pleasure to play. Our group is looking forward to our return. Thank you again for a great experience.

We showed up and were immediately addressed rudely by the pro shop staff. Who bothered us our entire round. (They do not like guest here). Along with not feeling welcome the course was in bad shape. Tee boxes were very long and bunkers were just terrible. Will not go back.

It may have been the Spring weather, but the course conditions were far from desirable. The grass in the rough was so high, finding balls was nearly impossible and the "fairway" was very bad. There has been quite a bit of rain so I'm sure mowing was unable to be performed. I would give it another chance, but I would hope it was better maintained. I will say the greens were pretty good.

Love the layout, love the big mature trees, fairways we're decent. Greens were hairy and slow. Some tee boxes were more dirt than grass or all crab grass. I've played there when it's been in better shape. I'll go back but not this season.
