In summary

Piney Point Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained greens, friendly and helpful staff, and attractive pricing, making it a popular choice for both beginners and experienced golfers. The course layout is appreciated for its scenic views and challenging design, featuring wide fairways and well-protected greens. While many enjoy the amenities, including the food and pro shop, some visitors have noted issues with the pace of play and occasional maintenance disruptions on the driving range.

I've never been on the course, but the pool and food place is super good!! The bathrooms are clean and very nicely decorated. I really enjoy it there. The staff is polite. Some of the members get on my families nerves, but overall it's really good

They take great care of this course. We were impressed by the greens and the fact that they do an amazing job of keeping leaves at a minimum.

I’m a terrible amateur, so don’t know what my opinion counts for. But this place looks great and greens were in great shape. Not too crowded and they have a driving range. I’d recommend it!

Loved the course. I played there about 8 years ago, it has changed quite a bit. The lay out is nice, the course is fair yet challenging, it is in great shape and there is a lot of maintenance people taking care of it. It is a hidden gem for sure.

Played here November 2nd with 2 foursomes and had a blast. First impression driving into parking lot was a dated concrete/brick clubhouse, but walking around building found a cool old school vibe. Great friendly staff, good food at the grill and really nice shirts, hats and other high quality merchandise. Quirky 90 degree doglegs were fun too. Greens were immaculate, roughs were starting to go dormant but were ok. We played Rock Barn (Hickory) and Tanglewood Championship (Clemmons) that same weekend but Piney Point was the unanimous favorite of all 8 of us. We will find a way to make it back d…

Drove all the way from Charlotte to place on 2Oct25. It was worth the drive. The course IMO is a parkland layout. Reminiscent of Donald Ross designs like Mimosa Hills or Gaston CC. Its a playable course for all skill levels. The champion Bermuda greens were in perfect condition. A bit slow for my taste but I like them on the faster side of 10.5. The fairways and rough were in better shape than some of the private tracks in CLT. The staff is extremely friendly. Plan on playing it again!

Nice track and greens are in excellent shape was my first time on this course but definitely worth it. Everyone is extremely friendly I got paired with a member and he was also friendly. Definitely has this old school feeling the pro shop was nice. I didn’t have food but it smelled pretty good.

Played here in early December and the grass was of course mostly dormant so the course conditions were as expected. Staff controlled the 1st tee very well and managed to send us off one tee time early. The pro shop staff was friendly and courteous. I was hoping for a logo ball at check in but they were out... But at the turn after chatting some more with the young man in the pro shop he went searching in the office and caught up to me on the 10th tee with a logo ball for my collection. Awesome 😎 Hot dogs at the turn were also good and despite not having any relish available (the lovely woman…

Getting soaked by sprinklers on the range in the morning is not fun specially Saturdays happens every morning so you can't even hit the range or use the putting green in the am because they soak everything. Wednesday you have to wait until 10:30 to hit on the range even if your a member and you pay for it and usually there not even done at 10:30 so you wait for nothing. the only thing that's good is the greens and the grill
