In summary

Heather Glen Golf Links is widely appreciated for its beautiful and well-designed course, featuring traditional Scottish architecture and a challenging 27-hole layout. Many visitors commend the friendly staff and reasonable rates, making it a popular choice in the Myrtle Beach area. However, some reviews mention inconsistent course conditions and express disappointment over its closure in November 2017 to make way for housing development.

Clubhouse and course has impressive traditional Scottish architecture and design, a real gem on the north end of the Grand Strand! 27 holes and my favorite round is having the back nine challenge of finishing over the water on to the large green in front of the beautiful clubhouse!

Beautiful golf course. We always golf as a group of ladies - and they always try to accommodate us. Great views, great course and nice people. But oh no - they are closing!! Bah humbug.

Fantastic golf course. It will be a great loss to the area since it will be making way for housing. Played my last 27 holes in Nov 2017 and it now history.

Played 3.15.17 and the course was in poor condition. Some interesting holes but it seems there is no one managing the course maintenance. Can not recommend this one.

Well maintained and designed course. Long popular, but closing in November 2017 so as to be turned in to subdivision.

A very nice layout, very friendly staff. Just a shame that it will be bulldozed for housing. So sad.

Just ok. Decent layout, but kind of spotty shape in places.
