In summary

Herbert F Johnson Park Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, contributing to an enjoyable golfing experience. The club also offers amenities like a disc golf course, picnic area, and play area for children, enhancing its appeal to families. I heard about this course. I Enjoyed the layout with a variety of holes. #9 is a monster hole. Course is hilly on front except for one hole and flat on back except for one hole. Sand was inconsistent and greens slow. It was a full house and took just over 4 hours.

Course was in absolutely the best condition I've ever seen it in. Rains and flooding have since caused havoc. Call course to see if there open

my home course... awesome layout...price is decent ($17 walking 9 / can sometimes play 18 with a cart for under $30) not the longest but still not easy having to go left and right on holes...if you're usually good hitting out of bunkers, you won't be good here as there is no sand in any of them...that needs to be addressed

Yes it is a golf course but it also is a disc golf course. We went there with the grandkids to kill some time and the parking lot was full. I guess if you play Frisbee golf in you have a foursome or a fivesome well there you go a full parking lot. The play area is pretty minimal for kids but it was nice, a small climbing slide area and some swings. They have a nice picnic area under cover and a restroom. Lots of trees and grass, nice.

While they say they have an industry standard of tee times every 8 minutes. We started early off the tee and were barely a 1/4 of the way down the first hole before a two-some started ~5 minutes after we started. With them and then a second group after them breathing down our necks, I gave up and sat in the cart after the 3rd hole while the rest of my 4-some finished up. when I asked for a refund for myself I was told, since I didn't come in right away they couldn't give me a refund. NEVER AGAIN! (picture attached is how close the 2 some was behind us)

It's out of doors so it's great. There was lots of parking for the disk golf, the area we were in. The swings and the slide were minimal but nice. I would like to go back there soon.

Very nice course with both easy and challenging par 4’s. Leaves provide a challenge for fall golf.
