In summary

Shoop Park Golf Course is highly praised for its scenic location along Lake Michigan, offering stunning views and a charming layout that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The course is appreciated for its affordability and well-maintained greens, though some mention the fairways could use improvement and note the absence of motorized carts. While it may lack the amenities of a larger resort, its relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff make it a favored spot for a leisurely round of golf.

This is super little 9 hole course on Lake Michigan and has all kinds of different holes. It’s 5 stars on views, layout and greens. The fairways need work. For $13 to walk is a steal. Much better than Washington Park GC in Racine.

If you’re looking for a low-key, scenic 9-hole course that won’t drain your wallet, Shoop Park Golf Course is worth a swing. Nestled right along Lake Michigan’s shore in Wind Point / Racine, the course treats you to some genuine lake views and even glimpses of the Wind Point Lighthouse. What works well: • The setting is a highlight. Some holes wrap close to the lake; the breeze off the water adds character (and challenge). • It’s affordable, especially for walking play. For a modest investment you can enjoy a full round with charm. • The course forces you to use variety: with shorter yardages…

Amazing views and friendly staff as well as customers. If you're looking to learn or sharpen parts of your game, this is a very welcoming course to do either. No one is in a rush and a great place to slow down and enjoy the game!

The course is unbeatable for the price. It has amazing views of the lake including a lighthouse. The greens are well maintained and the rest of the course offers a good challenge. I couldn't recommend this place enough, It really is a gem tucked in Wind Point.

Great little course, very well maintained for a municipal course.

This is a fantastic course, staff is super friendly. Super scenic and the course is very well maintained. In heavy rain periods the course takes a bit of time to dry out because of all the hills/valleys which should be expected. Also, course is walking with push carts only (due to the villiage rules).

Been visiting the beach here for 40 years. Its my place of peace. ☺ I have a habit of collecting things, rocks being one of them. Good place to find yupperlights ( a fairly new found mineral in some rocks)

An excellent golf course for the money. Nice views of Lake Michigan and not too challenging. The fairways and greens are adequately cared for. It was the first time my son had golfed and we were not rushed, it wasn’t busy and only let a single play through. $11 for nine holes is a steal. Will definitely return on our next visit.

Decent local course (my personal favorite in Racine Area). Cheaper prices, which explains why the grounds aren’t super pristine. Greens are decent, some holes have goofed up greens. Certainly a beautiful view and always a good time. Longer course than anticipated, the ladies tees aren’t much an advantage, no motorized carts- so be prepped to walk!

The best small golf course in SE Wisconsin. Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan alongside a picturesque lighthouse. The holes have exactly the right amount of challenge. Great for golfers of all skill levels but ideal for those wanting the beautiful scenery.
