In summary

Heritage Golf Links receives praise for its challenging and picturesque layout, recent renovations, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among many golfers. The course conditions, particularly the greens, are generally well-regarded, and the practice facilities are appreciated. However, some visitors express concerns about the pace of play, overbooking, and management practices, which can detract from the overall experience.

We played with a group of 26 golfers at 95.00 with Cart Path only. The round was long and this is not a easy walked course. They said it would be lifted after noon but was not. We enjoyed the layout, the greens were rolling well. The bathroom was very nasty and needs cleaning.

Best kept secret in the Atlanta metro. Heritage Golf Links in Tucker is the kind of course that reminds you why you fell in love with golf. Nominated by Golf Digest as one of the Best New Courses in America when it opened — and it absolutely still holds up. The recent renovation took an already great course and made it even better. Challenging enough to keep scratch golfers honest, forgiving enough that beginners leave wanting to come back. Club membership is a steal if you play more than a handful of times a year. Easily the best public golf course in Atlanta.

The course really surprised me in a good way. It’s a beautiful piece of property with a challenging layout. The staff were very helpful and present. The greens will make you really think on each approach shot and putts. I really like the practice facility and now they have someone on site that can make adjustments to your clubs. My golf buddies and I will definitely return.

Course is fine but I am not exaggerating it is a 6.5 hour round. 3 marshalls driving around but they don’t do anything about it. $95 for sandy tee boxes

Ive got nothing bad to say about the actual golf course. Ive golfed at this course hundreds of times, and its a fun track. Would be one of the best public courses in georgia if it weren't for the penny pinching management. They overbook every single weekend. They have no Marshall's on the course, last weekend people from an adjacent neighborhood were walking around the course in the middle of the fairway taking pictures, they thought it was a public park. Its a free for all out there. This course will charge you $90, hand you a cart key, and then youre on your own. There was a 50 minute delay…

Played on 4/27/26. Pace of play was great, starter started us the back 9. Everyone ahead of us played pretty quickly, so the pace of play was great. Honestly the course is in the best condition I’ve seen in a while, especially the greens. Honestly no complaints with my round, prob my favorite round honestly. (Shoutout to the randoms)

I’ve enjoyed my experience at Heritage Golf Links every time I’ve been out. The staff is always on point, greeting you with a friendly manner—especially if you’re a member or a regular. They’ve done a fantastic job with the recent renovations. The greens have had some struggles, which is expected in the middle of the Georgia heat, but overall, the improvements are clear. Legacy and Heritage are both great, challenging tracks that keep you engaged throughout the round. Tradition had been rough for a while, but it’s obvious the team has put a lot more attention into it recently—it’s well on its…

This is a 9 hole course now. Legacy has been redone and plays well. Heritage is closed for maintenance and tradition is open but there isn’t a green that is remotely playable. If you come here looking at the price as a 9 hole you’ll be satisfied if the price for the 9 is fair to you. And on the tradition course every fairway and rough is littered with shredded golfballs that were caught up in the mower. Makes finding your ball a joy.

1:20 tee time. 6:20 sunset. Called the club house after the pace of play was 2 and a half hours to play 6 holes. The club house response was “nothing we can do” and hung up on me. The course condition is good to great even in winter. Doesn’t matter much when rounds take 6 hours+. Extremely disappointing experience.

Range is an absolute joke. Mats have been in terrible condition for years and they will randomly close it early without updating the website. Pulled up at 3:15 on a friday to a hit balls, the range apparently closed at 3. Baffles me that while every driving range in the atl area is full at almost every day, Heritage can’t even manage to keep the credit card reader working properly. Starting to believe this place doesn’t want to make money from their range.

Course is great and challenging. Only deducting a star because of the egregious drink prices. 3 drinks cost $65 pre-tip. And they advertise fireball shots at $8… is that supposed to be a deal? Yall should be paying me to take a fireball shot. Insanity. Bring your own alcohol if you want to drink while playing.
