In summary

Hesperia Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, friendly staff, and overall value for money. The course layout is generally appreciated, with some challenging holes and scenic views enhancing the golfing experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with the driving range conditions, slow pace of play due to large groups, and occasional maintenance challenges, such as dry patches and ground squirrels.

Fantastic course! I seriously dont get some of these reviews. Now by no means am I a "great golfer", in fact only been golfing for about 3 months, but everything was great! Course was well maintained, greens were well kept, and the views were beautiful! Almost forgot I was in Hesperia with how lush and green it was:) Range: it was interesting, as your hitting into open air position towards the dirt hill. Truthfully im not complaining, it was fine. I just feel sorry for the people that have to retrieve all those balls 🤣 Give this place a shot, but make sure you arent hitting slices as you m…

I had a truly enjoyable round at Hesperia golf course yesterday. The course condition were even better than I expected. The green and fairways were particularly well maintained, making the entire game pleasant. Some hole was challenging. Also green speed very fast. Like PGA tournament. Considering the value for the money . Best choice I recommend .

I found the greens very well maintained and very fast but I like them a lot. The fairways are also well maintained with a clear line of demarcation between fairway and rough. I golfed on Wednesday for senior price over 60 years old and only paid $35 and that includes a cart. The course at one point had some water hazards but those are completely dry now. Make of that what you may, at least you can go find your ball in most instances. The course is an out and back layout that has fairly unimaginative holes as most all of them are straight with some having slight dog legs. I found the carts fun…

Really fun track! The condition varies throughout the year, but right now(Sept 2025), they are doing an incredible job. Staff is always really kind. Carts are nice. Pace of play is generally pretty good. Would not suggest the driving range, the mats are thrashed and you're just hitting out onto a dirt hill with some yardage markers out there but the practice green is nice. Not a place to come practice, but an awesome course to come play.

A pleasant surprise was a chilly day at Hesperia Golf & Country Club. This was the second time we played and we were very surprised it wasn't busier. This course was in good shape and the staff was wonderful.

Worst experience I’ve had at a golf course. The cart boy was mocking other customers as they were upset about their carts not being ready. Mind you we tee’d off at 12:30 when our tee time was 11:30. A pathetic excuse of class from an employee. The employee stood around doing nothing except mocking customers while the elderly employee scrambled to get each new cart ready. He should not be employed. For reference this was on 9/13/25 around 11:30am employee was a white male, around 19 with curly hair. Extremely immature minimum wage worker. Absolutely embarrassing establishment as long as he work…

Course in decent shape. Driving range has been a disaster for years. Their sign says Driving range. Should say break your wrists on old mats range...

Staff in the pro shop is fantastic. Very fun course, with fairly wide open fairways. Well placed bunkers, but the bunker sand is rock hard. Greens are in good shape, but there are a decent amount of divots that people are not fixing.

Played here for my first time last weekend and the course was perfect. The staff was super friendly, other players on the course were friendly and respectful as we took a bit longer with our wives trying to keep up with the pace. Couldn't have asked for a better time!

Please allow me to first say this is my favorite course here in the high desert. I really like the course and doesn't have many houses on it. I can stand on the tees and work on my game and not have these nagging thoughts in my head. The course is challenging. The only reason I dont give a 5 star is the course could be a little better condition wise. We are in the desert. Avoid the ravine between the holes on the back nine. Yes, I have gone searching for my ball. The last time I played, I found a lot of ant hills. Just watch for them. This comes from a person who has twice managed to stand in…

Love this golf course. Still challenging for me been going here for 24 years. I am glad to see it coming around and looking better than what it used to. I wish they stop letting people go in groups 6 or more it just slows the pace down and these people don’t ever let someone play through I also have to go to the next hole and come back to the last one I didn’t play or play a whole twice. The groups are that slow. 4some is big enough. They also need to hire a Marshall again it’s golf they are rules and regulations and a lot of average golfers don’t follow it. Like a simple fix your divot, it’s…

Should be the premiere course in the high desert, however it’s not. 7 years ago we had 12 players playing there twice a week. Now we have 3-4 playing once a week. Poorly maintained, broken sprinkler system leaves dry patches in the fairways and on the greens and stagnant puddles throughout. Dozen upon dozens of ground squirrels digging holes in the fairways and bunkers. Roughs are not consistently cut, greens are not well taken care of. Getting punched maybe once a year and seldom rolled. The city Recreation department does a terrible job of maintenance. In all fairness to the employees, the m…
