In summary

Hickory Creek Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, challenging layout, and scenic setting, with many golfers enjoying the overall condition of the course. The staff, particularly the rangers, receive mixed reviews, with some players finding them friendly and helpful, while others feel uncomfortable with their presence. Common criticisms include slow pace of play, high walking fees, and issues with cart paths, but many still find the course to offer good value for the price.

I liked this course a lot. It was beautiful. The course had a good amount of challenges, but it wasn't difficult in a bad way. The cart we had was a bit of a lemon, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, I recommend this course.

This used to be my go-to course since it's fun, close and "was" always a friendly place to play until my last 2 rounds where this one particular ranger would hide up on a hill or behind a tree like a hawk and spy of golfers like a creeper and that made it very uncomfortable for me. Until he's no longer there I WONT be back there to play, and I would not recommend anyone else to either. The guy is just a weirdo and thinks he's something he isn't. I'm assuming his wife or gf bosses him around and he thinks he can let out his frustrations on the players when he's on the job. I'll go back when he'…

I used to golf at Hickory Creek back in my college days in the mid-90's. I thought it was nice back then...it's in even better shape now! It's a great value for this course! The course is well-groomed and playable. I still love this course after all these years!

Hickory Creek is charging $25 to walk 9 holes. I feel that's overpriced and you can play at different golf courses in the area that are way cheaper, nicer and groomed satisfactorily. Don't get me wrong. I like this golf course and if you play here you'll have a decent time. You will be challenged, but to walk 9 for that price is a Lil expensive. Enjoy your round.

Greens and fairways are amazing and fast. Facilities are minimal as new club house is almost finished after fire. Cart paths are mostly in very poor condition but couldn’t rate down as the true golf was great. Electric CARTS!!!!!!!! Really enjoyed the course.

This course is awesome. Really fun layout, well maintained. Some great golf holes in a low key setting. For the price can’t beat it.

Nice course. Well maintained. They are doing some upgrades to the clubhouse. Fairly laid back. Beautiful in the Fall, but leaves can be a distraction to finding your ball and putting. Lol

Met 2 other foursomes (total of 3) here to have a day of golf and some fun with skins and closest to. We actually ended up getting rained on for about 2 hours after the 1st hole. But instead of leaving we waited it out for another 2 hours. Of course we were told it was cart path only because the amount of rain they had. Understandable. What isn't understandable is how many times the ranger would pop up to remind us, watch us, tell us to replace a divot after a swing before we could even do it out their request. It made the round pretty uncomfortable being watched the entire time. It was like w…

Course is not taken care of, tee times too close together. Was literally just harassed by the ranger and cussed me out for absolutely nothing. Will never be golfing here again. They should be ashamed

Cart paths are straight trash!! Maybe take some of that $45 you charge and fix them. Every year they get worse and every year they do nothing to fix them. Course was ok not a single bunker was racked this year. Greens wear punched recently but over all clean and fast. Not sure I’ll ever go back unfortunately as it seems to be getting worse and worse every year
