In summary

Hidden Lake Golf & Country Club is often praised for its well-maintained courses, enjoyable layout, and friendly staff, with particular commendation for the practice facilities and scenic setting. While many appreciate the overall experience and amenities, some visitors have noted issues with pricing, customer service policies, and the approach to beginner players. Despite these concerns, the club remains a favored choice for many golfers in the area.

Played on Aug 10, 2024 the new course for $95 green fee which is more than similar courses in the area, or you can pay slightly more for a much better course. Overall, staff were courteous and professional, facilities clean and organized, and the course was in great shape. Not an overly difficult course, but with nine par 4’s and four par 5’s, you need to have a decent driver. Completed the round in just under 4 hours.

Hidden Lakes is an excellent course — well maintained, with smooth greens and a layout that’s both enjoyable and challenging in the right ways. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff were very welcoming. Peter was especially helpful and went out of his way to make the experience great. I’ll definitely be coming back. Twilight prices were super cheap as well!

Great course and good twilight rate. Pretty open and some long holes, but nice par 3s as well. Not much tree trouble but enough sand trouble as I unfortunately found out. It’s in good shape.

Booked a round ahead of time and the weather showed rain a day or so out. They dropped the rate for walk-on/last minute bookings but wouldn’t match it for people who booked earlier, and the rain check expires at the end of the year… not exactly helpful when it’s already mid October. Pretty disappointing way to treat paying customers, left a sour taste and I don’t think I’ll be booking next year, would rather play a worse course with better “policies” Keep in mind I wasn’t looking for a discount 10 minutes before my round, this was 26 hours ahead of time since they don’t let you cancel within…

It is a nice place for golf in late fall. The colorful scenery is amazing. The only happy challenge is that it is hard to search the golf ball from the golden leaves, you must bring more with you.

Went here for a company golf to play 18 holes. Service was ok at first. They were accommodating and warm. They even drove me to the green to be with my team. But as we played the game, staff were a bit pushy, saying we should hurry as we were holding off others. Later on they send someone to tell us that most of our team mates are already in the club house. And we should bring our carts back as they need to clean it. Probably, they want to protect their members. But I wouldn't recommend this place if you're a beginner and wanted to enjoy the sport. The burgers were bland, and the service was s…

Just north of Burlington on the escarpment on #1 Side Road ...I found " Hidden Lakes" ...now to be called "Found Hidden Lakes". This course features an emaculate club house, pro shop outdoor restaurant ...with good food, a driving range and a practice putting green. Their are 36 holes, a new course and and an old course. The holes were generally long the shortest par 3 beeing 144 off the blues. I liked the layout, quite challenging, many dog legs. The fairway was low and the ground was hard so you really had to hit down on it !. The wind seemed to attack us on many of the holes and you have to…

I had an outstanding experience at this golf course! The open fairways provide a perfect setting for a relaxing round, complemented by impeccably well-maintained greens that enhance playability. The practice facilities are amazing!! The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The amenities are top-notch, and I was particularly impressed by the consistently clean washrooms, which added to the overall comfort of the visit. Highly recommended for golf enthusiasts seeking quality and excellent service. Also, If you are looking for lessons ask for J…

Hate to only give 3 stars but really not worth the money in my opinion. Course was in decent shape except for the bunkers being rock solid. For almost 150$ with a cart the add on 10$ for a small bucket at the range is a little tough. Certainly not a horrible experience but you can get way better value from other courses in the area.

Decent course. They have 2 18s but likely should be 3 9s because you are often looking at 3 or 4 holes. People all around you. Greens were in good shape and fast. Shot 83 so not too shabby

Course is in pristine condition. I've been out six times since April 13, this is by far, the best maintained course I've played on. With all the wet weather that we have in Southern Ontario, this course is dry and offers great value. Even after yesterday night's rain, the course is playing beautifully. Kudos to the facility maintenance staff, greenskeepers and marshals.
