High Cliff Golf Course

We recently had our wedding reception in the upper ballroom and it was such a great experience! The view is beautiful from up there, the staff was always so nice and helpful, and the late night pizzas were definitely a hit! We also worked with Molly from the event planning services on site, Honey Events & Planning. She was so helpful and made the day go so smooth!

I attended a wedding at High Cliff on 8/19 and it was beautiful! The outside gazebo was gorgeous! The event center was clean, spacious but cozy and the food was exceptional. The couple did fresh greens, an assortment of BBQ meats, Mac and cheese, beans, sauces and cornbread. Everything was delicious! The staff was professional and the bar tender was especially friendly. It was a great spot for a wedding. The outdoor fire pit was a nice little addition to step outside at night and enjoy the weather.

From a photographer's perspective, the Event Center itself is spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. It's a versatile space that can accommodate a range of wedding sizes and styles. They work tirelessly to ensure that every detail of the event runs seamlessly, making my job as a wedding photographer much easier. Great staff! Course was challenging and the fairways and greens were well kept. Price was very reasonable for the experience. Definitely recommend!

We held my husband’s celebration of life at High Cliff Gold and Event Center and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The space itself is stunning - surrounded on three sides by large windows that beautifully showcase the natural scenery of High Cliff. We had our wedding at the end of May 2025, outside ceremony and lower ballroom reception. It was a wonderful experience, from "checking the place out" to booking (which we did right away after seeing it), to planning everything, to the day of! The Honey staff was accommodating and extremely great to work with. The venue is beautiful. The food (we did Nacho/Taco bar and s'mores) was delicious. Fully recommend.

Course was okay, nothing spectacular. Round was ruined after the old fella working as the starter gave us a hard time for wanting to share clubs (implementing the worst course rule in history) so we decided our third would just ride along and he continued to threaten kicking us off the course. Keep in mind we were there as members of a wedding party which we were supposed to get free drink tickets which we never received. All and all, why do you have miserable old people working as starters if they are just going to be completely unreasonable and rude to start the round?

I’ve been here 2 times before and the course was alright. Not this time. I came on a Monday morning because I was told they had A special for $30 18 with a cart. I went up there and they tried to charge me $49. The course is in horrible condition. Everything is brown, the greens are in horrendous shape. This course now rivals as one of the worst in the valley.

Great course. Front nine is very scenic as it is carved through High Cliff state park. Course has also gone through several improvements recently (which is rare to see at most courses these days). Really good bar/food as well.

The course is nice but the proshop staff and rangers are clueless. Forcing us to be paired with randoms was a huge disappointment. We were told by one range we could separate but then we were forced by another ranger to regroup with only two holes remaining. Our twosome plays at a fast pace despite walking and we waited for the 3 threesome with carts on every tee box. The second ranger chose to ignore the fact that the threesome in front of us was causing the entire front 9 to become congested. Won't be back anytime soon

The course is nice, and the prices are reasonable. We used a voucher for two players and added a friend as a third player along with a ride-along. We informed the girl checking us in that we were only paying for the ride-along, and our friend would pay for himself. Despite this, she charged us for our friend’s fees as well. She promised a refund, but a few days later, I found the charge was still on my card. I called the pro shop to resolve the issue and was met with skepticism, being told, "I guess I'll take your word for it." After explaining the situation and reviewing all transactions, I…
