In summary

Highland Golf Club receives praise for its friendly and accommodating staff, particularly in organizing events, and its well-maintained golf course. The food, especially the fish fry and prime rib, is generally well-received, though some diners report inconsistencies in quality and service, such as missing sides and long wait times. While the location and pricing are appreciated, there are occasional concerns about course maintenance and the dining experience.

Attended a work Christmas party last Friday. Gretchen did an amazing job with the setup and communication with our group. Lucas did a great job making sure we had everything we needed while we were there. They were both extremely friendly and exceeded customer service expectations. Highly recommend for all of your events.

We had our wedding at the highland in June 2024 and everything turned out better than I could have hoped for. Gretchen made the day a breeze, accommodating to all of our requests and keeping everything flowing smoothly, from getting champagne filled at the head table, to getting the cake cut and served, to dropping tables to get the dance floor ready. I didn’t have to worry about finding someone to take care of any of it because they were already a step ahead. I can’t recommend using the Highland for your wedding venue enough!! Thank you, Highland and Gretchen, for being incredible and making…

We ordered takeout. Two fish fries and prime rib. We didn't get the 2 coleslaws or the 2 beans that were supposed to come with the fish dinners. Ugh .We ordered the same thing a couple weeks ago and everything was great.

The staff was very friendly. The golf course was in pretty good shape. Not far from the Island Resort & Casino.

First time going to the Highland and was not disappointed. I didn't know you could order the cod broiled, so I just got it deep fried. 2 huge pieces (around 6oz each), a baked potato, and salad bar. The breading wasn't greasy at all. It was absolutely delicious.

Their Friday fish fry was great! The salad bar was also very tasty. I had the walleye and it was a big serving!

We and some friends went there for a fish fry on March 1. Had a reservation for 5:15. First off, they couldn't find us due to a spelling error. We were at a small table pretty much out of range of wait staff. After 20 minutes we asked a staff if she was our waitress. She didn't know. We then waited an hour and 25 minutes for our food to arrive. Some of the orders were wrong. We were all very disappointed. Not enough wait staff for Friday in lent. We drive an hour for the meals there. Will consider elsewhere.

When we walked in, we should've taken a hint and left when we saw a sign saying a piece of carrot cake was $9.99. I ordered a perch "fish fry" for $18.55. The perch breading was soggy and barely brown. The jumbo shrimp someone else got was the same way. We were the first ones there, so its not like they were in a hurry.. The fries were mostly potato skins and didn't get many. We didn't notice our cole slaw and beans were missing because we barely started eating our salad bar plates when they brought the food out, so my food was cold by the time I started eating it. One soda cost $4 and so did…
