If I was rating the course by itself I would give it a 5 (higher if I could). My problem is with the staff and trying to figure out if the entire course is available (esp on $1/hole Wednesdays). For the past several weeks I have called Wednesday mornings to inquire if there are any leagues or tournaments that close some or all of the holes. When I drive 12 miles and try to play I find out that there are groups reserving the course for most of the day. Today I called at 9 AM and asked if the course was open, no tournaments or anything and the lady in the pro shop said was open. I get there and…

Great and challenging course for the price. Not overwhelmingly difficult but gotta use your head and right clubs for the back nine. Over all fun and good for golfers as well as beginners.

We golf here once a year for a guys' golf weekend and we always look forward to it. The course is challenging and always in great shape. The staff is very friendly and give the vibe that they are happy to have you there. Be sure to stay for lunch. Everything is delicious and is a major step up from the type of "bar food" you'd expect. This has become one of our favorite courses.

Nice golf course. Fun layout. Wednesday is dollar day in the summer. $1 per hole played. Call ahead for tee times. Course was in nice shape for the rates.

Always a fun track to play when in town. Staff is wonderful! Short track but lots of fun, especially if you are introducing someone to the game of golf. Always in great shape!

Golfed here many times on our trips up north. This time they had aireated and heavily sanded greens. We were never told that when we made tee time. We had to play back nine twice, it was awful. Can't say we will be back after all the years going there sorry to say.

Nice course. Greens well taken care of, decent clubhouse, etc. They definitely arent wrong the back 9 is harder and tighter....never took out anything more than a 3 iron due to all the curves or lift shots.

Interesting golf course in the Nicolet Forest. Front 9 is conventional with somewhat forgiving fairways but enough hazards to keep you honest. Back 9 is short (par 32), but everyhole is lined by thick forest, water or both. The short holes are among the hardest, with sharp doglegs that cant be shortcutted, or water that requires some accuracy to navigate. The clubhouse is pleasant with a few golf amenities and the bar has a few decent beers on tap. The staff is very pleasant. Sleeves are the only clothing requirement they list but you should wear a collar shirt and adhere to club rules because…

A good course with two personalities. The front nine is more wide open. Let it fly! The back nine is short and tight. A good test of your short and placement game. I recommend this place.
