In summary

Highland Green Golf Club is often praised for its scenic and challenging 9-hole layout, friendly staff, and the unique experience of foot golf. Many visitors appreciate the beautiful surroundings and well-maintained course, with some highlighting the enjoyable dining options at the Duck Pub. However, there are concerns about inconsistent course conditions, such as patchy fairways and greens, and some have experienced issues with customer service and pricing.

Just not sure what has happened here. Was in great shape when current owners took over from Harris Golf six or so years ago (plenty of pics online of its former shape) and its been a steady decline ever since. Was even closed for a while which didn't help. Heard that conditions were improving so I thought maybe I'd try it out. The pic I included of the 2nd green says it all. Shaggy and dry everywhere, and absolutely loaded with crabgrass. Absolutely unacceptable, and there's definitely better options available locally. Too bad given how good a layout this course is. Hopefully there's better da…

Amazing hidden gem! Tight gorgeous course with beautiful scenery and wildlife year round. Only a 9 hole course but different tees are available to change things up. After your round stop by the Duck Pub for outright AMAZING food and service!!! Prices are great all around as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I played and enjoyed this course for many years up to when Harris golf took over. They ruined a really special tract. Its been a couple or three years since it hit bottom and was recovering a bit. I played it yesterday and it seems to have taken yet another turn for the worst. The fairways were patchy and some of the greens looked to be dying. I find this very sad the conditions at this course were spectacular a few years ago with a great layout. The restaurant was closed to boot SAD!

First time @ Highland, Staff was very friendly. Nice little course, well maintained. Priced reasonably. Overall it was a pleasurable experience, too bad we did not play 18 holes. Recommend highly. Anthony. H Burlington. MA

Beautiful and challenging course. Saw a deer while on hole 3! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Only thing that would make the course better would be to add 9 more holes.

My family had the most fun night we have had in a long time!!! We played FOOT GOLF! It basically kicking a soccer ball to a golf hole. As a family we also play golf, this was just a different and fun way to play. Please check out the Highland Green you won't be disappointed!

What a hidden gem in the Brunswick area! Quite challenging! Next time I want to play 9, grab lunch in the Pub and play again, to see if I can improve my score.

Very nice golf course. Cart definitely needed. Beautiful cart paths through the woods in between holes. Narrow fairways bring extra balls

Really disappointed in this course. Pro shop failed to mention that greens were just punched and covered in about a quarter inch of sand. Not to mention rude grounds keepers.
