When you are looking for a relaxing round of golf this place is perfect. Kim, Susanna and the while crew make you feel welcome and are very accommodating. If you are snobby and looking for Bushwoods, stay home or go to Belgrade Lakes!

My son's birthday is really a God event. Children bring such light into our lives, only because of God do we have these gifts. I wanted to give him a gift card. However they do not do business like that, what they do is give you a gift certificate towards whatever you might want to purchase. My son had bought a package of 10 out of things as well as a cart package to go along with that. This enabled him to arrive and not worry about his wallet. Played here with my grandson and daughter who both made birdies! My grandson who is 13 and a very good athlete hit a drive about 275 yards. The greens were very smooth and rolled well and overall the course was in good shape, especially considering how dry it’s been.

This is a good golf course for those still learning the game, or for those who want a relaxed game in a pretty location. The fairways can be hard during the summer and the greens may not be in fine shape after a hard winter, but the course is well laid out and offers enough challenge for average golfers. Walk it and enjoy the rolling terrain, pleasant views of woods and marsh, and lots of birds singing this time of year. Very forgiving course. A lot straight shots. It is in decent shape. I would play here again. The people are very nice and got my out without a tee time reservation.

I know how hard it is to keep a course in pristine condition, so I don't expect perfection at any course I play. However, for the price I was disappointed with this course. A good measure of golf course health is the greens. In Mere Creek's instance, the greens were not in great shape. Putts were rolling very unpredictably with precarious dead or dry spots on some putts. The holes were not marked with hole number or yardage, so unless you have a range finder you're left guessing on distance to the green. Great bang for your golf bucks. Really nice course, super friendly staff and golfers. I could play at others courses, but it's just more fun to play where you feel welcome. The bonus is you get a nice 9 hole challenge. Don't pass "TPC Mere Creek" by!

We recently retired to Brunswick and joined at Mere Creek. While it is not Portland Country Club, nor does it pretend to be, it is a playable course that they are working diligently to improve. What makes it special is the people operating, working at, and playing here. Everyone is helpful and friendly with no sign of pretentiousness. Well worth the money.

A nice little 9 hole golf track just north of Freeport Maine. There is a driving range where you hit off grass, but late in the season it's pretty rough. They have rental clubs that are geared towards high handicap players. You can walk with a push cart or ride for a few dollars more.

Greens were excellent, fairways were pretty good for the end of August! Proshop as very cordial and accommodating. One jackwagon, claimed to be a three handicapper didn't think anyone else should be on the course. JERK!

Have had pretty positive experiences in the past, but today a maintenance worker was actively mowing the green while we were putting. Another hole (a short par 3), the same worker re-holed the pin and mowed the green while we waited on the tee box, and two groups caught up while we waited for 10 or so minutes.

Only played the front 9 but it was a good course, the greens and fairways were well kept and there were some challenging holes with good breaks at the par 3's.
