This golf course is a treasure among courses, a great pleasure for all who come to play AND to experience the sheer beauty of the place, in every season that they are open, and also to simply relax on an unusually peaceful course away from the stressful crowds on city suburban courses these days, though its location is also great because it's only a short drive to downtown. It is challenging without being aggravating, the holes are laid out to maximize interest, nothing monotonous but diverse and satisfying. We also really enjoy the atmosphere of the club house, it has a cheerful retro feel, w…

The website says one price where if you call or show up you get a completely different price, and paying 48$ for 18 holes around here seems a little steep but to each there own

Great coarse. Was there late in the season but coarse was in very good condition. Kind of a woodland links coarse. Many of the holes are built into the natural landscape. Carts are new, staff was very nice and helpful. There is a small restaurant but did not try.

What a great golf course. The orginal 9 offers a challenge that can put you several stoke down but the back 9 allows some opportunities to get them back! Great overall condition from tee to green. A must play for anyone traveling in the area. While you may not find a tour stop here it's a great course to remember why you started playing golf! Very enjoyable!!! Food is pretty darn good too! Best classic Buffalo wings ever with or with out the sauce! Taste the same as they did in 1984! Mary and her staff do a great job & well worth the money! Highly recommend!

Good equipment, fun (non-electric) golf carts and well put together tee and green

Really good course for the price. Back tee plays a little shorter than conventional courses but the undulating landscape poses a challenge for golfers of all level. Tee box and fairway are in good condition with the exception of a few that needs some work. Green is decent but can be filled with branches and leaves between seasons. Remember to fix your divots to make it a better experience for others. The course can be improved by adding water jugs on hot days and ball washing station when it’s muddy.

We recently held a baby shower in the pavilion at Hillendale. This is a spacious facility aesthetically pleasing which can be adapted to large or small groups (25 to 100+). Management is willing to work with a group to provide service from minimal to full food and beverage service. During the event the men were able to use the well maintained golf course while the women enjoyed the pavilion facility for the shower.

Course is in very poor condition. Golf cart is old and dirty. You will be bothered by flies all the time. Didn’t even finish all the holes. Would rather pay a little more for a better experience.

We discovered this little gem while doing a college tour with our daughters. Fun course to play, and the driving range was very nice. Had a great lunch there, too. The staff was friendly and attentive. Apparently, Hillendale offers a guesthouse - we would definitely consider staying there next time we are in the area!

Have been playing Hillendale for years and really enjoy the course. The staff go above and beyond to make my wife and I feel welcome. Their dinners are excellent...especially their Friday dinners. Their event meals, for league AND tournaments, are second to none. I received many compliments on the most recent tournament I held there.

I hosted my mother’s celebration of life gathering at Hillendale Golf Course. They did a phenomenal job with the food, the settings, and the little extra touches like supplying flowers for the tables and by the doors. Everyone commented on the food, the set-up and the friendly staff. They made a hard time easy for me. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

Held another tournament this past weekend at Hillendale and the participants RAVED about the event. Nothing but positive things to say! The course was in great shape and the meal was absolutely incredible. One of the golfers contacted me today and shared that his steak was the BEST steak he has had in 5 years. KUDOS to all of the employees!
