In summary

Holiday Island Golf Course is appreciated for its picturesque setting and challenging layout, with well-maintained greens and a friendly, helpful staff. The course offers a decent pro shop and a small restaurant, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors express concerns about the condition of fairways, bunkers, and carts, as well as the high green fees, particularly given the course's current state and limited amenities.

The first Major of the here was here on July 31st. Greens were immaculate and fairways were lush. My buddy bash brother john Wilkes Booth won the tournament! Only drawback was that my buddy won because we were forced to drink bud light. Busch light forever!

Very nice golf course. We went there for the World class Chili cook-off competition. Alot of really great chili was eaten!

Despite a course rating of 70 and a slope of 123 [Max is 155] across roughly 6,000 yards from the "tips," Holiday Island is a uniquely challenging course to play given the amount of strategic shot making that is required on multiple holes due to tight fairways and/or well placed “bends” in the fairways. Holiday Island is somewhat tucked away from the “hustle and bustle” as it’s just outside of Eureka Springs which is a small Arkansas resort town. For all of the "positives" and "challenges" listed below , I'd say a "fair" ranking for this course would presently be a 3 [on a 1 to 5 scale ]. "P…

Looks like a nice place, but I'm not a golfer. The grounds look well cared for. We went to pick up a truck bought at an online auction. Dealing with Gary Martin, the fire chief, was a pleasure. He was a great help, when the truck experienced difficulty, just a few miles away. We got everything taken care of, and had no further trouble. Not bad at all, for a truck sold as 'inoperable'.

The clubhouse staff was friendly and helpful. The course was great condition. There are several tight tee shots. The greens were outstanding! I’m looking forward to playing here again the next time I am in the area. I highly recommend playing here.

Nice layout. Fairways not grown in (some bare spots), clover rough makes ball hard to spot, greens nice. Staff friendly. Non residents highest rate. Check Golfnow for possibly reduced rate.

This track is not worth the drive nor a green fee of any kind. The course is in horrible shape, especially for this time of year; 18 dry fairways, tee boxes dry and chewed up and the sand traps have growing grass. I feel sorry for the people that have to live on a course like this and look at it. We will not be back. Superintendent should be embarrassed and fired. Worst course I’ve played in Arkansas by far and I’ve played many!

Wife and I played on way to Eureka Springs. Got a GolfNow hot deal so it was very affordable. Green in great shape. Grass was hit or miss throughout the course. Would have been disappointed if paid full price, but the hot deal made it ok!

Beautiful and well maintained course. Driving range is on top of a hill and hit into a valley, really messes you up on perception. Fairways are razor thin and houses on both sides side. Often the OB will be 10 feet from a person's back door. Access to non-members is poor. There seems to always be an event which precludes non-members from playing. T times are only available 7 days in advance for non-members. Over all a very picturesque course with fairways, manicured T boxes and greens, but exceedingly tight fairways. Good experience and would recommend this course.

Loren was very pleasant and kind. We called to book a tee time and again to order food then when we got there he had everything ready to go for us. Both the food and course were great! ❤️

Green fees were outrageous for February. You'd think there would be a winter rate. $80 for a couple to play 9 holes with cart. $120 for 18 holes. Cart path only. The greens were excellent! Won't be back...What a shame! 🤔😥

Just played this past week with my father and brother in law while on vacation. It’s been 2 years since I last played this course and honestly think it’s the best shape its ever been. Tee boxes and greens were in really good shape. New driving range was pretty dang cool.
